For what it is worth, my 7 year old daughter ADORES Zelda Windwaker.

Better yet, she can sit quietly for hours (other than providing advice), just watching.

If they are smaller kids, then sure why not. My kids love our Wii U. They love anything Mario, really like Nintendoland, have a blast with Lego City, and when they're not playing any Legend of Zelda title (Oot and WW HD, right now) my son is always running around pretending to be Link.

It actually probably has more anticipated titles than the other next gen consoles, you know, 'cos it's been out for a year longer.

I'll give them Smash Bros, Mario Kart and X. The rest don't look all that great to me. I'll probably still get one next summer when I get bored of my PS4 and my Xbox 1.

I really hope Mario 3D World lives up to its hype. The Wii U needs some killer apps, and the game looks pretty impressive. I mean, it is made by the same team the gave us Mario Galaxy, so I'd say it's a safe bet it will be preeeetty good.

Still don't like the cat suit though..........

I think there's a good chance it'll be as good (or close to it) as Mario Galaxy. Especially with dat 3D multiplayer.

I just hope people don't get overly hyped for the game. Don't get me wrong, I firmly believe it will be at worst a good Mario game; but because the Wii U has had such droughts of good exclusive games many owners will probably desperately cling to the idea that 3D Mario World will be the saving grace of the console. Of course it has the potential, but if it's merely "very good" (haha) there will probably be a lot of people who are severely disappointed. Such is the negatives of a hype train though.

So, hopefully it lives up to the hype.

Monolith hasn't done heaps since Xenoblade (apart from helping out with Animal Crossing), hopefully they're trying to surprise us with the game coming out sooner than expected.
