Tibitoski said “I think what Sony is looking to do is have a large library of games that come from varying walks of life. They want to bring variety to their platforms so that any audience could find something to love about it. I also think it was a smart move on their part with it being a new console.”
Sony has recruited Bungie's head of revenue Jaremy Rich to head up its live-service gaming division, Rich has announced on social media.
Please do not put Destiny’s monetization into Sony’s first party games. The monetization is what’s driving players away from Destiny.
I mean, this person made some pretty bad decisions at Bungie. I hope they've learned from them because I definitely don't see those type of ideas as good for PlaySation in general.
Ps5 gamers in 2023 seemed to play more live service types of games, so regardless to how people feel about them, numbers don’t lie and Sony is going where the money is. I mean look at the excitement around Helldivers2, people are showing that they want live service games.
How do you kill a franchise that already been killed?
Destiny’s grind, cash-in-on-playbass-cha-Ching, and pop-culture-insertion mainstream-me-too bs totally killed any rep Bungie had. Sony/Bungie, if you are doing this to ward-off players, it’s already working.
“Another month has passed us by and during it, many incredible indie games released so let's celebrate the 12 best from March 2024.” - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums.

Sony is like the only ones outta the 3 that has atuff like like this pop up changing thing in ways.
I love indie games they do the things that the big publishers are affraid to do or think will fail.
Some of the best games i played so far this year have been indies like Guacamelee,Hotline Miami and Cube World to name a few.
Already cant wait for Octodad,Assault Android Cactus,Transistor,Hotline Miami 2,Shovelknight,Hyper light drifter and Resogun.
I think having a wide range of game genres was pretty much Sonys PS3 policy. OK, many weren't big sellers but at least the library was/is diverse.
i can tell this will be a bright generation for sony. theyve changed alot since ps3 launch. they learned the hard way thats for sure but at least theyve learned. the indie love is icing on a very great cake.
It's going to be great being a PS4 owner :)
Im hoping we see PS4 upgrades of some Ipad games. The iPad has a slew of indie flight combat games that are awesome, that would make incredible PS4 titles. Not to mention, Gamelofts entire library.
