Wow, it already takes a long time to get $ in the MP, now mission earnings are cut in half? That sucks

beer_baron3840d ago

Yup. It looks like Rockstar is doing everything they can to drive up the in game value of money to increase the attractiveness of paying for microtransactions.

Nitrowolf23840d ago

This is just BS. I know it's all about making money for them, but ever since the launch and how shit been handled with the MP, they really want us to buy their money, only they really turned plenty away from it.

Yea we are getting money packs, but wow

SolidStoner3840d ago (Edited 3840d ago )

today, I was playing for 7 hours, I earned about 70,000 and I spend all that on car tuning, then I was kicked, while in "los santos customs" (full loby of players, didnt do anything wrong)

It gets me into single player, then I go back online, guess what.. all my spent money is gone and also there is NO tuning on my car.. I have to do it all over again.. and earn it..

guess what I did, I just went out and killed about 10 random guys in a row (never had this kind of rage in me, I killed everyone that moves and I was good at it.. it felt awesome...) ahhhhhhh...... now I know why I get randomly killed every time I meet someone...

EDIT: if you do rage online, I can tell you that ALL your money is taken away... also, if you Die or get shot you lose about 5 - 10% of your money... pity for those who use real money!

GarrusVakarian3840d ago

It doesn't take long at all actually, being good at the game earns you alot of money, especially in races. But i guess now its going to be alot harder.

Burackus3839d ago

Yea it makes no sense, it's just rockstar wants people to buy money which is a b!cth move in my book everything else was fine and good but that is just stupid.

Boss_Kowbel3840d ago (Edited 3840d ago )

I'm rolling in about two million dollars after the bike resell glitch, so I hope I can make my money last for a while. I'm curious, however, to see how much Rockstar will charge for microtransactions.

beer_baron3840d ago

Me too. How much do you think they will charge for the equivalent of the first $250,000 stimulus package? $5USD? $10USD?

explicitd3840d ago

I think $5 would be a pretty reasonable price point. At least they're not pulling Clash of Clans or Candy Crush shit where you have to wait or pay to play.

Burackus3839d ago

It's 5 for 500000 and 10 for one million

Spinal3840d ago

The prices were alrdy put up. I'm surprised u two missed it. Check websites it's everywhere.

beer_baron3840d ago

I'm looking everywhere and I can't find that info. Could you post a link?

$100,000 Red Shark Cash Card - £1.99
$200,000 Tiger Shark Cash Card - £3.49
$500,000 Bull Shark Cash Card - £6.99
$1,250,000 Great White Shark Cash Card - £13.49

dski10803840d ago

I expected the money making glitches to be patched out, but the 50% reduction from regular missions is surprising.

Boss_Kowbel3840d ago

Well, glitching did make microtransactions virtually useless, since Rockstar haven't emptied anyone's bank account apparently.

Vic_Mackey3839d ago

I can see the other stuff, even though it's a game about stealing, BUT THE ROOFTOP? REALLY?

Vip3r3839d ago

Good. Means people will appreciate the money more now.

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing6920h ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

Profchaos19h ago

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Demetrius8h ago

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy8518h ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

Demetrius8h ago

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
