It isn't a clone of Ico. It is obviously inspired by Ico but it is only paying homage to an exceedingly brilliant game. Calling it a clone is an insult to the developers making Rime. Rime looks like a beautiful and artistic gaming experience that I can't wait to play.

The Witness is as important to me as any of the AAA games, but I also want Octodad, Galak-Z, Rime, Outlast, Dying Light, and Everyone has gone to the Rapture are all indie games I want as well.

I'd rather pay for indie games than the overpriced so-called AAA games.

Outlast is a pretty good horror game but doesn't follow through with the scares so can get a bit tame.

I shall be preordering Contrast before it's release as it's 25% off on steam now for the Collectors Edition.

The others are on my to-buy list as well especially oddworld, transistor and Ray's the dead.

Another game to look out for is Daylight :)

indie is the future and sony knows this triple a titles most of them have been series that should have died off like 4yrs ago. they are getting boring better graphics but the stories are getting worse as they go on. indies are also more willing to try stuff that are risky that triple a devolpers wont try.

Looks like I was right to post what i posted below. The usual suspects actually believing that people are buying a PS4 for the indies alone.

Indies are a part of the overall package, and it's a fact that the majority of indie games produced are more unique and creative than most AAA retail games, due to the very nature of the constraints AAA publishers have created. People are anticipating PS4 for the unrivalled DIVERSITY and VALUE it offers for games and its services.

And it's not like PS4 doesn't have a ton of AAA games, but it's only people like you acting like it doesn't or it won't continue to. PS4: the only console to fully embrace AAA games, free-to-play games, MMOs and indie games.

I wonder what was going on this generation with Sony fans praising games like game of the year winners Journey and The Walking Dead, or The Unfinished Swan, or Braid, or Limbo, or Spelunky, or Flower, or Hotline Miami, or Thomas Was Alone, or Guacamelee, or Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, or Papo & Yo, or Retro City Rampage, or Lone Survivor, or Velocity or Sound Shapes or Machinarium.

So that pretty much destroys your ill-founded theory that this is something that is a recent development or anything to do with a weak "PS4 lineup", when Sony gamers have been playing and enjoying indie games on PS3 for an entire generation.

Killzone: Shadow Fall isn't a AAA blockbuster? Screw it, I'm wasting my time with a retard here. But I'll continue. Generic, eh? How is it more generic than Battlefield 4 or Call of Duty Ghosts? How is it any more generic than a racing game that is the same racing game as before (Forza), and a clunky, generic hack-and-slash with an identity crisis (Ryse) or a visually bland rinse-repeat zombie game that we've seen a thousand times over (Dead Rising)?

Playing games that were actually on PS3. Games like Blast Factor, Lemmings, Dead Nation, Worms, Echochrome, Pain, Super Stardust HD, Outland, Rochard, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD, Closure, Bionic Commando Rearmed, Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse, Shank, PixelJunk Racers, PixelJunk Monsters, PixelJunk Shooter, Malicious, Rainbow Moon, Noby Noby Boy, Burn Zombie Burn, Soldner-X, On The Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness, The Last Guy, flOw, Flower, Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic, Fat Princess, Critter Crunch, Joe Danger.

I could go on and on with other games that I have on my download list. And playing indie games I thought looked interesting on my computer like Bastion and Super Meat Boy and more. Is that such a difficult concept to grasp?? Or is it just not possible that certain gamers are more open-minded and have broader tastes than classless fantards like yourself?

So many great games of all kinds to look forward to. Games like Rime, The Witness, Transistor, Volume, Daylight, Oddworld, SOMA, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, Pavilion, Outlast, Helldivers, Secret Ponchos, and Mighty No. 9 (spiritual successor to Mega Man) are very important to the PS4's lineup as well as the AAA stuff.

What the hell do you think Minecraft, one of the most popular games in the world is? a goddamn indie game. And Braid stands as one of my favourite games of this generation - such originality.

It seems like a lot of people don't know that indies can have big budgets and be made by superb teams as well.
It might have something to do with the stigma/feelings that have become associated with the term "indie".
I think independent devs should probably look to clear some of that up.
Sony and other companies support might help.
