Thanks to all of your support, Kingdom Hearts has sold more than 20 million units worldwide! In celebration of this, and with absolute pleasure, we’re proud to announce that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX will launch globally in 2014!

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is the follow-up compilation to Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX, and will be available exclusively on PS3.

Been debating getting BBS for my PSP for a while now.

Looks like I'll be holding off until this releases.

I really really really hope there is PS3 support for the PS4.

I can't afford to get both, and the PS3 is just insane with all the good RPG's being released lately on it.

What do you mean by PS3 support? If you mean backwards compatibility so PS3 games can play on the PS4 then, sorry to say, it won't have it.

You're best bet is to hope that you can stream the game through Gaikai when it launches for the PS4.

I didn't care so much for the first yeah I wanted it but didn't have the money at the time so I said forget it I will just wait and first day for sure get 2.5 because i knew they would do it. I loved number two so much and I never got the chance to play birth by sleep so I am glad I waited even tho I will own a ps4 by the time this comes out >.<

Well if you talk about PS2 games, you could just play them with an emulator in 1080p. You kinda get the HD remake that way. I played the whole KH series this way.

I bought the ps2 games (own the system) but played them on pc later when emulation was pretty much flawless. The other titles? Im not prepared to buy 4 different system just to play one series. Thats a fail on their side imho...

Yes how strange that they would want to sell more copies of KH3 and know that they best way to do so is to release HD versions of the first 2 final mix versions of the game with all the others included as a bonus just to catch people up....Or people who don't cry about HD collections

I don't know why people are complaining, these remasters are made so people can catch up on the story line(it has been a while so a lot of people are lost), and for people to experience it with completely new orchestrated audio tracks and HD gameplay. By the time I pick this up, I can probably get 1.5 HD Remix for about $20, and spend about $40 on 2.5 totaling $60.

I just heard that new Kingdom Hearts 3 footage was shown at the D23 japan expo. Tetsuya Nomura did a conversation with creators with playstation, and dropped some new footage.

Birth by Sleep was bad ass! One of the best games on the PSP. Now to be able to play it on the big screen on HD & with 2 sticks will be a treat.

Best memory of KH2 was finally beating Sephiroth! Every time he did that move to drain you of Hp/Mp down to 1 always left me panicking to heal myself. When i finally beat him it felt like the greatest satisfaction in the world! Great game!

Probably cause of the 70+ million PS3's out there compared to maybe 5 million PS4's when this is released.

Though hopefully through Gaikai we may play these games on PS4 one day.

Bith by Sleep is such a good game.

I played it a few hours in and stopped playing it since it was around the time I got my PS Vita.

I was waiting on being able to play PSP games on the Vita, but sadly that did not come true.

Now that this collection would be released on the PS3, I will buy this collection and finish that game once a for all!

I can't wait, BBS is a good addition to the Kingdom Hearts series with cool main characters.

im agreeing with the "not understanding" part of your comment. I think it is rather weird that they wont be releasing these on xbox360 though. 3 will sell nothing on the x1. But, the rpg doesnt exactly have a good history on xbox consoles unless it is named fable.

I'm such a hypocrite. I just said said something bad about Square Enix yesterday, but hhhhhnnnnnnggggghhhh this is just too much to get mad at. I've Platinum'd KHFM a few days ago, and I can't wait to Plat this too.

And lol at Xbone people going to get KHIII. They're gonna get so mindf*cked if they've never followed the franchise before. Especially with how crucial BBS is into the story. Terra-Xehanort, Ventus, Young Xehanort, the Organization, etc. You know the in-game backstory notes and stuff are barely gonna be able to describe these events without also making you scratch your head.

They still have issues, but Square Enix seem to be getting back on their feet again. They completely re-built FFXIV Online to fix its problems, and gave people a free update for it, as well as a free update to PS4 if you have the PS3 version. FF Versus is finally coming out, as well as Kingdom Hearts III. These KH Collections. FFX/X-2 HD Collection. They're giving fans what they want, at least.

That's a good point about the Xbox fanbase. They may do a re-cap movie option, but that would be huge.
