CVG:Few games are as high on next-gen wishlists as Watch Dogs. Ever since Ubisoft's open-world hack 'em up made its debut at E3 2012, fans have been guzzling down every last pint of information that's been served by the publisher's Montreal studio.
If you are looking for a bargain, check out the huge discounts across the entire WatchDogs series on Steam.
"NetEase are today very excited and happy to announce Jonathan Morin (the creator of the "Watch Dogs" franchise) as the new Creative Director for NetEase Games Montréal." - NetEase.
With the world of information and technology, privacy and security growing every day, Watch Dogs deserves another chance in the spotlight, now more than ever.
The only Ubi title that deserves a faithful remake right now is Splinter Cell 1.
All 2014+ Ubi titles are just underwhelming. Especially ones from 2016+ are just cancer.
The fist watchdog game was the best by far
After that they weren't weird and annoying with that hipster stuff. Aiden was a badass.
Many have tried and many have failed. Saints Row had to go the ultra - stupid route because they couldn't compete, Sleeping Dogs was great but only really had a good combat system going for it, Just Cause 2 was fun but lacked any detail in the world. I doubt i will see the same attention to detail in any videogame until the next GTA is released for next gen consoles.
I love the look of Watchdogs im getting it day one but i think it is a different type of free roam to GTA, a little more serious and more "focused" than GTA.
GTA1,GTA3,GTA: Vice City, GTA: San Andreas and GTA5 just can't be beaten in my opinion. Sandbox kings.
GTA is a jack of all trades game. You can do ANYTHING... but nothing by itself is really amazing. I'm excited for WD because it looks more grounded and focused. May not do 1/6 of what GTA does, but what it does do, might be better. Hopefully
Good luck Ubisoft ROFL
I'm sure Watch Dogs will be great, but I am sure Watch Dogs will be more of an 'open world' game rather then a sandbox game.
It will be more of an open-world with more focus on a certain aspect, rather then GTA V's sandbox aspect of 'do anything', so you are already headed in the wrong direction Ubisoft, on bringing Watch Dogs 'to GTA's turf'
