Whoever in the latest preview of this game said that it looked last generation and wasn't fun had to be brain-dead. This game looks incredible. Looks like a mix between some of the coolest arcade racing games, Burnout and the 80s arcade classic Chase HQ. this is one of my most anticipated games for next year. I cannot wait to play it. I just hope that we can choose modes to play, say, you are in the mood to play the Chase HQ ramming missions one after another, can we do that?

Anyways, the visuals look incredible for being an open world title that spans the United States. The fact that we can drive from one end to another without a loading screen is amazing. The particle effects, reflections and even the vehicles look really nice for being such a huge title.

If anybody out there wants to drive from San Francisco to New York City, the day the game comes out, let me know. I think it would be a blast to get 4 or 6 people together to just do a coast-to-coast Drive, without completing any missions, just kind of a sightseeing tour.

Does anybody know when this game is coming out? I know it's coming out in 2014, but is it coming out in January or February or Christmas next year?

Looks amazing. Hard to judge the graphics due to off-screen but the gameplay looks solid and that's where the money's at. Day one!

I'll probably grab this too, barring bad reviews.

The open world concept sounds awesome. Drive around, find racers, chase them down, challenge them to a race, set a checkpoint and JET!

Reminds me a lot (in concept) of Burnout Paradise — one of my favorite games.

I was kinda thinking midnight club... but next gen burnout is going to be insane.

This city has no people in it. A city got to have people. Trust I live in New York there are people out at all hours of the day and night

Depends on the game mode. This video is showcasing a traditional race/track (eg. lights directing the racers). In the more open world events (as seen in other videos) there are people roaming the streets.

My only issue with this game is sadly a deal breaker for me, and that is the physics/center of gravity. The game makes sure you stay upright while in the air even if it means breaking immersion and looking downright silly, i'm really sick of every driving game these days having that handholding physics BS, seems like the only people who do driving physics right these days is Bugbear. my interest in this game has now been utterly lost, too bad, it had potential

Wait. I don't get it. I reported on something that I recently noticed. I did mention in my article that I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't gone to play The Division 2. That said, if this was nearly a week ago, I wouldn't know, as NO ONE REPORTED ON IT! Not IGN. Not Gamespot. Not Kotaku. No one.

You got people here complaining that there are any real gaming journalists and game journalism sucks, but when someone is acting, doing something to make something known to the public about what a company is doing. What do you do? You poke fun at it. What is it that people want? Do you want to complain for the sake of it? Or do you actually want people to do something to make those who aren't in the know aware of the shady stuff that's happening and to sound the alarm?

It's the "oh well" setting in on digital users. They don't care they don't own their stuff for some odd reason. 🤷🏽.

Good for you! People sometimes just feel the need to show how little they actually have to say. Very respectful dressing down, btw, which is another thing we need more of.

I appreciate your article,
- "If this isn’t considered both a “WTF” moment and setting a dangerous precedent, I don’t know what else it would be"
- "it could also signal other publishers that removing games from our accounts would be okay"
- "Maybe those firmly against this digital future have a point after all"
- "This. Is. Fucked. Up."

As someone against an only-digital/streaming future for entertainment content (movies/TV shows/games/books), it feels like talking into a void about the points above on this website, or on Twitter, or with my friends, etc. People don't get it. I'm strongly contemplating whether this will be my last generation of PlayStation & Xbox consoles (I'm confident enough that Nintendo's next system will still support physical media and that their 1st-party games won't have online-required installation or usage restrictions).

He is one of the long running trolls of this site, he never says anything positive. Every single one of his posts are either incorrect or flat out stupid. Pay him no mind.

Yet people will sit here and still say that digital is better 🙃

Welcome to the era where you no longer own your games.

I'm so done with Ubisoft, removing games one paid for is a new low...
Bye Ubisoft,
You've done f#c*ed it up !

Chocoburger10d ago

This was me 9 years ago, when I realized all they wanted to make were filler boring games that are packed with micro-trash-actions.

Snooze! Moving on from Ubi-junk!

I see they're trying their best to surpass Activision Blizzard for being the most hated gaming company. Keep at it, Ubisoft, I believe!
