This is just further proof of the development speed associated with the PS4. Getting ports up and running so fast that they'll make it at launch. Great news overall too as the PS4 didn't have any announced fighting games till now. This is just a port and of an Ultimate Edition but it's better than nothing and hopefully improvements are made in the next gen version.

This type of 3rd party exclusive (inadvertent) reminds me of the start of the PS3/360 era. Slowly games where announced that only came to 360, or came to PS3 late.

That brings me to my real point. Is this a start or sign of the wins changing to Sony's favore early this next generation. Or even better than it started in the ps3/360 war? I think so!

Lets do some research I go to gamestop and as of today I see 13 xboxone games that is ACTUALLY being sold by Nov, 22.

I look at the the ps4 section and see 15 games that are actually being sold by Nov 22.

Seems like PS4 has more games if you ask MATH.

I'm glad they're are doing this. My PS3 refused to play this game, even after I repeatedly installed and reinstalled, and even changed copies of the disc. And I've been wanting to play it.

Not disagreeing with you because you're entitled to your opinion. But I own it and it's a very good game. It requires fast thinking and isn't as random as Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3. I definitely recommend giving this game a look if you're into fighting games.

It definitely has it's issues. Spamming being the big one. I've never seen a game where it's so easy to win just by spamming projectiles. Supposedly they've been doing balance patches but i haven't been playing it to see (too many other games coming out). If the graphics are significantly better, and it's finally balanced then I'll get it on ps4.

Injustice is a great game and for those that don't have the game, it's a great pickup if your going to be the PS4 at launch. Makes the launch lineup a little better for sure.

Anything with Mortal Kombat in it is better than Killer Instinct, especially Killer Instinct on Xbone which only brings 6 characters, lmao. Can't even do 1080p and it's a fighting game.

Blizzard was adamant that it wasn't going to happen, so the PC loyalists swore up and down it wasn't going to happen, even though there was already hard evidence to suggest Blizzard was infact already working on it.

I'm just about 100% confident GTA5 will be on next gen consoles, at least PS34within a year. What kind of developer or businessman would turn down 100s of millions in profit for the minimal manhours and capital it would take to bump up the visual assets of an already complete game? You're talking 4-5 more years for a next gen GTA then. I don't see it happening.

I believe it more with Gran Turismo 6, that it truly won't get a PS4 port because that is all such PS3 specific code, but that's not the case with GTA5 which imo would be an easy port.

Not to mention, Microsoft may not even want the Injustice for XB1. A competitive landscape is great for business, but when they're trying to hawk their own fighting game, two already established franchises would stand a good chance of cannibalizing sales on one, likely KI.

Surely you can't be serious, i find the playstation dpad to be the worse for fighting games. I can't for the life of me pull off a semi circle or full rotation without several tries, not to mention any move that requires pressing up-right or any corner movements for that matter cause of the spaces on the dpad....

Yeah, for sure. You're totally right and 98% of the other fighting game fans and veterans are wrong. A joy style dpad that is completely inaccurate where half the time you tap down an it registers left, or when you hit right jit registers up and you jump completely ruining tha Psycho Crusher you were about to unleash but instead got Dragon Punched out of the jump you never intended on making in the first place, is WAY better than the most input accurate dpad arguably (though not in my view) in the history of consoles?

youre insane. virtually no one in the fighting game community prefers the xbox 360 dpad over the ds3's dpad. playstations dpad is one of, if not the greatest dpad ever released. youre probably going to be inclined to scream "fanboy!!" but dude, its pretty universally accepted among fighting game enthusiasts that when it comes to dpads on consoles, playstation is the way to go.

I have to disagree with you on that one. The 360 directional pad is trash and I have both systems and love fighting games. All the Evo fighting tournaments use the PS3 cause their controllers are just better for fighting games period. I have Injustice for the 360 and it is a must to have a fighting stick for it cause you just can't pull off combos good with the 360 controller.

I find it funny that people will disagree with MY experience using a ps controller as if they were there next to me while i played...did i say it was impossible to pull off diagonal moves? No. Just that it was difficult for ME... I did end up buying a 3rd party controller with a full dpad back then and i ended up playing better...disagree with that if you want to but it was my money, my controller, my hands, MY experience...and as such, at the time, it was ONE of the reasons i opted out of buying a ps2 and ps3....

Now, if i should have the same problem with the ps4 then i will seek out a 3rd party controller with a full dpad yet again...by contrast a lot of people complained about the original xbox's "giant" controller yet i found it just fine and very comfortable...what works for you may not work for me and vice-versa...deal with it.

Thats not a bad idea. The only thing is most of the time when I play my vita its not in my house. Sometimes I don't have access to Wifi at all, and I am personally not expecting remote play to work well via Wifi. I am not saying it can't work, but I just expect it not to work well enough. I think it will work fine in my home, but at that point, I'd probably be playing the PS4. I'll test remote play on Thanksgiving when I go about 100 miles away with my Vita, and see if I am right or wrong about how well it works via Wifi.

Have you guys considered mobile hotspot on your cell phones? This is how I can get internet anywhere on my vita. It's already included in my plan and you can share your phone's dat/internet connection with multiple devices. I've used it at the airport, food court at my university, and ect.

Injustice for PS4 will be a great compete to this game, cause its already a successful game, and its the full game. Notice how a said full when Killer Instincts is not the full game at launch, but free with one character. There will be pros and cons to both games no doubt, but I can't wait for a video comparison. Hope Injustice for PS4 will be visually impressive with 1080p and 60FPS.

if by transfer you mean. Logging into Your PS4 with your PS3 account then sure. But you cant transfer trophies if you create a new PSN ID. Works just the same as it does on Vita.

I bet that's exactly what it is. A cash grab. NR saw a void in the PS4 launch lineup and decided to take advantage of it with a lazy port of a current gen fighting game. They'll add in all the DLC and call it a day.

There is no incentive for them to do any more than that because there are no other fighting games on PS4.

Well on Twitter Ed Boon said its not out of the question for a X1 port, and it seems to me just speculating it has to do with a lack of X1 dev kits. Didn't Blizzard and a few others say they have yet to get their dev kits? I think this is the only real reason we don't have a X1 port. Again just speculating, and nothing more really :-/

I'm sure visually KI will be the more impressive game cause it's made specially for the next gen but for a complete fighting game if you haven't picked up injustice yet, you need to get it for you launch library cause it's an amazing game and the fact you get all the fighters with your purchase is a big plus.
