Could Lily Bergamo Be Baffling Western PS4 Consoles?

Push Square: "Prepare yourself for more puzzling plots, as Suda51’s first PlayStation 4 project Lily Bergamo could be heading overseas. The title – which was announced with a stylish video earlier in the year – has been trademarked by parent company GungHo in North America, making an international release all but inevitable at some point in the near future."

"suggestive cut-scenes", pushsquare.com trying get hits. Lily Bergamo dress more conservatively than this PS2 game http://upload.wikimedia.org... (The PS2 game is rated "M")

edit:
"Strong & Serious Lead Female Character for PS4"
is what I would describe for Lily Bergamo.

get2sammyb3852d ago

It was just a joke at the expense of Suda51's typical games, but I've edited that out in order to avoid any confusion. Hope that's better.

Puzzle & Dragons earning $3.75m a day, stock jumps 28.8 per cent

GungHo Online Entertainment America
gunghoonline.com/

The incredible growth of Puzzle & Dragons developer GungHo Entertainment continues apace, as strong revenue in April pushed its market cap past Nintendo.

According to the company's latest financial report, translated by the prominent Japanese analyst Dr. Serkan Toto, GungHo made ¥12 billion ($118m/£76m) in revenue in April alone - that's a year-on-year increase of 1,142 per cent.

And the vast majority of that money came from a single game: Puzzle & Dragons, the company's mobile smash hit, earned $113 million in April - more than $3.75 million a day. The game now has 13 million players in Japan alone, which is 10 per cent of the country's population.

In the quarter ended March 31, 2013, GungHo posted revenue of ¥30.9 billion, up 800 per cent year-on-year. Operating profit for the period was ¥18.6 billion ($183m/£119m), an increase of 7,400 per cent over the prior year quarter.

The impact of these results on the company's stock has been immediate and huge. According to Dr. Serkan Toto, GungHo's share price increased by 28.8 per cent in "just a few minutes" of trading on the Osaka Stock Exchange today until it was bid-only, finally settling on ¥1,342 million per share.

This puts GungHo's market cap at ¥1.54 trillion, the equivalent of $15.1 billion - just above Nintendo's $15 billion market cap and closing in on Activision Blizzard's $16.7 billion.

This really came out of nowhere!

This news got me hyped up for Lily Bergamo and PS4 next year.

I have always waited for price drops and redesigns before I purchase a gaming console. But the PS4 is the first console I will be getting Day One to capture the moment of gaming's revolutionary event! And I know its gonna be awesome right out of the gate.

PS4 and Gung Ho are gaming's next big thing!

"Strong Lead Female Character with subtle touch of Sexiness, with seriousness in her heart" is what I would describe "Lily Bergamo". I think more attractive title would be.

"Strong & Serious Lead Female Character for the PS4"

@ miyomoto

Thanks for that info. Gungo Hu Entertainment also published Game Arts' (responsible for the Grandia series) PS Vita games - Dokuro and Ragnarok Odyssey.

If they bring Lily Bergamo westward, they will be my new favourite Japanese publisher.

i don't know about best looking but looks like the most fun to me

theDivision3717d ago

All of the above in my opinion shall look amazing.

FamilyGuy3717d ago (Edited 3717d ago )

When was it said that Lily Bergamo and Shadow of the Beast would release in 2014? That'd be sweet but I just never read that.

This list is lame for including basement crawl which doesn't look good by any aspect, visually or game play wise.

GT7 Prologue if it's real

Game's gonna be crazy.

Suda51 rarely disappoints, although I hope he doesn't go overboard again with the tasteless sexualisation. Sounds like a more serious concept to me.

sonic9893777d ago

really excited for this game
here is a hope that we dont see guns and generic soldiers or anything that represent a shooter .
and just embrace our selves with true fantasy and crazy ideas and gameplay .
in all honesty last gen was as generic as **** it was flooded with games you would expect to see only on PC ( generic )

Suda 51 on PS4: It's "Immediate," "We Can Develop on it With Ease, and that's the Best for Us"

Grasshopper Manufacture Honcho Suda 51 seems to be in love with the PS4. He’s currently developing Lily Bergamo for the platform, and today he sang the praises of Sony’s new console.

...I would give away body parts for a Next-Gen Shadows of The Damned sequel!

Army_of_Darkness3778d ago

@rip

You sure about that?? what if it was your Right Hand huh?? lol!

But yeah, shadow of the damned 2 on PS4 would be awesome! Loved the first game.

ape0073778d ago

absolutely, X86 hardware was the right choice, better optimization for small devs, time and cost efficient development and no gimped versions for the PC audience

cesuf3778d ago

^zing right on the money. Everybody is a winner!

Sarcasm3778d ago

"The fact that it’s “immediate” is the most impressive. The point is that PS4 focuses the most on being a game machine."

It's a win/win/win situation for Gamers/Developers/Sony

It's like a cohesive cycle that can drive great games new and old.

Sad the other platform doesn't have the same mentality instead wants to push multimedia over games.

" Sad the other platform doesn't have the same mentality instead wants to push multimedia over games"

Xbox one is X86 too, has cloud service that will show potential in the future and also new studios to make new first party ips

stop creating myths, both consoles are identical

Sarcasm3778d ago

^Sure whatever you say. You can't deny their push for TV/Multimedia. And no the consoles aren't identical. It's a dead horse that's been beaten to death. The X1 is underpowered and isn't going to push any technical boundaries. It has a cheap $120 Radeon 7790 that is low end by today's standards. Think about where it's going to be in a few years.
