In early September, Xbox Live General Manager Ron Pessner showed you how Xbox SmartGlass will be an integral part of your entertainment on Xbox One. He shared a few examples of how the companion experience will be used in games, but today we’re excited to share more specific details.
The Dead Rising series has enjoyed a long and storied history over the years, but which game in the series is best?
Over the last week, Jake has been going back to the Dead Rising 2 Off The Record remaster and has been an absolute blast. When he was 15 he first got his Xbox 360 and Dead Rising with it, it was unlike any other experience. It made him wonder though, what happened to the Dead Rising series.

Ah no, I just felt like writing it as I started playing the game again and wanted to offer up my opinions 😁
Seems like there was just a ton of infighting aswell and so many more issues. Honestly sadly Dead Rising 5 before it was cancelled sounded nothing like dead rising, nothing learnt from. Dr4 at all.
They're a solid channel. I always click on their vids, unless it's a series/game I simply have no interest in.
They took away the depth and charm of the game that made it fun and interesting, and made it into a generic zombie killing game.
This was the series the got me to buy an Xbox 360. The first one was so good. It still had horror elements. As it went on it became kind of a parody. Never forget getting Zombie Genecider achievement and then restarting the game to get the Mega Buster. That thing was monstrous against enemies.

No problem with Smartglass, but extra missions through the app for Dead Rising is a definite no no for me. If you buy the game for the console, you should have access to all of its content.
This new generation of gaming is gonna try so much to implant everyday mobile devices into our gaming habitat.
Don't know how I feel about that,don't wanna put down my controller to switch my gameplay to my mobile,if it was for streaming then I wouldn't mind since that would be great,but for gameplay purposes that I'm ALREADY doing with my gaming controller on my TV ?
I don't know,maybe I'll get used to it & it will eventually prove me wrong,being a good thing in the end.
It does sound interesting for Project Spark though,I'll give them that.
