Yakuza Ishin Director: PS4 has “No Weak Point”; is Working on a Cool Feature for the “Share” Button

Yakuza Ishin is being developed for both the PS4 and the PS3, and will integrate with the whole PlayStation family with rather rich cross-play features with the PS Vita, but what does its Game Director Hiroyuki Sakamoto think of Sony's upcoming console?

Not only his opinion is very positive, stating that the console has no weak point, but he's also working on a cool and unique feature to exploit the share button of the DualShock 4

That weak cpu is a huge weak point it will set A.I and physics in games way back. Microsoft would have been better off taking the stock xbox 360 cpu and add 3 more cores (because you know that cpu is dirt cheap now)it would be far better that what the consoles have now.

Aww, you go ahead and keep ...wishing... that PS4 won't have an edge or that its games won't look great.
Performance wise, it's more like the FX-8320/8350.

There isn’t an 8 Core APU out there, not to mention PC’s aren’t optimized for 8 threads.

GTA5 needs to be ported to PS4 just for all the sharing. A man has already had countless occasions where he wanted it after a crazy car crash or awesome police escape (trash truck into a river having enough momentum to reach the opposite bank then watching all the cops sink was his favorite so far). The share button will be awesome for spontaneous moments and especially good for open world shenanigans.

hopefully sony encourage this to come to the west because its ps4, i cant really see them limiting too many ps4 titles, plus they seem to be closer to doing what gamers want recently. but you never know :p lets just keep saying we want it in places like this and hopefully thatll help ^-^

I wonder if you can share with specific people on your friends list right away, that would be cool. They can interact with the video by clicking a 'like button' or specific option that will help your character in the game.

If developers can create their own custom share screens with clickable options which affect your gameplay, the possibilities...

An interactive sharing feature to change gameplay parameters sounds cool. Really hope Sega takes a leap of faith and localizes this title. I'm looking forward to playing this.

It must be because Sony sat down with the developers and asked them what they want from the new console. I assume just because of that the developers have a lot more respect for Sony, and therefore appreciate the system more than they probably would have.
