If the WiiU had more gems like this, I'd be rushing to buy one.
It's a shame that a game getting decent ratings and looks fun is selling poorly, though hopefully Nintendo will be encouraged to pour into new IPs to the system.

I'm still waiting for that Chibi Robo U game...

"If the WiiU had more gems like this, I'd be rushing to buy one."

This is sort of the catch 22 of gaming. People constantly say they would do X if Y happened, yet very few do Y so X will happen. If you want more games like this, then buy The Wonderful 101 and give Platinum Games some support. Simply saying without doing isn't enough to connivence companies and is ultimately going to result in less games like this in the long run.

"It's a shame that a game getting decent ratings"

The game is averaging 78/100 on Metacritic. Not every game can match GTA in universal praise, nor does holding a nearly 8/10 average count as decent. However, you're welcome to explain to me how a 7 - 8 / 10 is decent.

"selling poorly"

It was also under produced (Japan shipped out only 30,000), so the sales can hardly be amazing when there isn't enough stock to give good sales in the first place (selling 30,000 on release day isn't exactly impressive either...)
Nintendo barely marketed it past Nintendo Directs.
Lack of Wii U systems in general.
Grand Theft Auto V released the same week in the US.
All good and understandable reasons why it's selling poorly.

Whats really sad is if a game rates below 9/10, its average in people's eyes.
