There has been a wane in the popularity of World of Warcraft slowly over the last year, but with that I feel more compelled to come back to a game that I only scratched the surface of before.
Blizzard Entertainment has announced the opening of beta registrations for “World of Warcraft: The War Within,” inviting players to explore new subterranean worlds beneath Azeroth.
Danish from eXputer: "Despite Blizzard's attempt to give a fresh new spin to World of Warcraft, some fans still seem to be stuck in the past."
HG writes: "Blizzard is usually pretty bad at keeping secrets, but the company somehow managed to keep this one under wraps until now. Plunderstorm is a special limited-time event that’s basically World of Warcraft’s take on the Battle Royale genre."
Never got into it...
'It shouldn’t take my lifespan to look this badass'
Ermm....
Agree about the other points tho.
Wow stayed strong because it was progressive. I too want a fast and fun filled experience and not the for-the-heck-of-it grind fest that almost every other mmo is. MMos make raids and dungeons seem like a uni degree.
Hopefully these changes are to make things fun.
I quit 3 years ago.. im kinda starting to miss it. I payed since release, when you spend so much time in azeroth you start to wonder what things look like all these years later. I spent 6 years playing that game pretty heavy.
WoW was a good game for its time, but the instant gear crowd, amongst other things just made it less appealing. That's what Blizzard is catering to.
Game just aint what it used to be.
