Not sure how Battlefield would work with remote play, there would need to be 5-6 different control ses for all the vehicles, unless they made the jets and helis operable by gyroscope, which would be bad ass.

It's technically not required, just happends, at OS level. No extra development needed.

@RadioactiveTwinkey No Sony made it part of the certification process for all games. The only exceptions are camera/move based ones like to say a just dance style game etc.

I hate aiming with L2 but LOVE shooting with R2. I'd rather R1 + L1 than L2 and R2. But L1 and R2 is the best. I hope you can flip the buttons indapentantly.

We have to hold the DS4 first.
It is the natural position in the X360 controller.

For sure you'll easily get used to it if it's not possible to change the layout.

All this news on PS4 BF4 sounds promising, considering getting it for PS4 instead of PC this year. Although I'll no longer be able to play at ultra settings the PS4 version still looks pretty solid!

I honestly don't know why people are thinking that it is only a possibility that remote play for Battlefield 4 will get supported.

It is a 100% requirement for any game that wants to get published on the PS4 to support remote play, unless it uses the PlayStation Camera. For a PS4 game to be published, it has to meet a certain set of standards and quality control.

yes, there is a serate chip inside the ps4 that handles remote play. It's pretty seamless, and all that needs to be done is the control scheme.

This is ridiculous. You can use fight sticks for fighting games, wheels for driving games, but you can't use k/m for shooters. If it's about unfairness, then the first two shouldn't be supported as well.

You can still be competitive with the other methods of controls if you're using a controller, but KB/M allows far too much of an advantage.

Pretty sure R1L1/R2L2 and melee/crouch will be switchable. Nice to see touchpad is used to battlelog menus, I hope its slso works for customization/deployment menus.
