If we wait to do everything, our review won’t be out this year, if we push out a review next month, we’ll be missing out on vital parts of the game that Rockstar have painstakingly crafted. This is a problem with all large games but it’s hard to shake off the feeling in GTA V that you’re always missing out on something, there’s always another diversion you could be taking part in. How should we play this game
The freedom to explore large areas, approach objectives in multiple ways, and stumble across amusing distractions will always be an excellent format for video games, but some do it better than others. To celebrate the formula and parse the best from the best, have a look at the best open-world games of all time so far.
Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5 are both classics, but movement and general interaction sometimes feels like you're possessed by a fridge.
Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…
The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.
Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games
I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
From their most recent entries in the GTA franchise to their cult favorite racing games, find here the best Rockstar games, ranked from best to worst.
Take your time like me, your review is late now anyway, everyone has already bought it lol
Its up to the player. Honestly I used to always spend hours exploring and never touch missions. Then GTA 4 came out and there was nothing I cared to explore so I just played the story. Now in 5 I started with the story but quickly found myself getting side tracked and then realize I'm hours in and all I've done is fool around. I feel like if you lose yourself in the game than your playing it right. Story or messing around.
If this review isn't up day one, it is already technically late. However, if the reviewer doesn't get the game early, how is he/she supposed to explore all that content in a short period of time. Go ahead, put up your review whenever, people will still read/watch it.
Well after the first 2 hours it is a 10/10 . People just check meta critic scores and stop reading reviews after the first 1 or 2 published ones anyway.
Really questionable are those reviews on sites you know can't have had the review copy before release day. You can totally tell when a review is illegitimate and there have been so many of that kind with GTA V. So, I don't really know your site, tpreview, but you have my respect for this.
