How To Play GTA 5 On PS4

PS4 fans were disapointed to discover that GTA 5 will not be coming to the PS4 according to Rockstar's Dan Houser. But that doesn't mean owners of the Playstation 4 next-gen console won't eventually get the opportunity to play GTAV on the PS4.

Dumb, it would still be like playing the PS3 version. Being completely nit picky, the only thing I don't like about GTA V is the aliasing, but I'm usually having too much fun to pay attention to it. I would prefer a next generation of version of GTA V over current generation though.

As soon as I put it in my 360 and started played was disappointed on how it looked compared to the previews graphics wise, still enjoying the game dope AF, but I will defiantly buy it for ps4 when it comes out!

They're actually talking about GTA 6 not 5. RS could still port over a proper updated version of GTA5 for the PS4.

http://www.theguardian.com/...

"GTA 5 is coming at the end of the console cycle. Does the advance of technology interest you? Do you think, 'Oh wow, what will GTA 6 look like on a PS4?'

Of course we're interested. But no, not in terms of GTA, because we're always working on the current game. We look at the tech at a more practical level: what will be ready for which game that we're working on further down the line. We don't have another GTA in development, we don't work on three of these games at a time. That would be phenomenally depressing. So, in terms of GTA, no. We get pitched by the hardware manufacturers on what they're planning to do and our tech guys come up with ideas on how that could be used. Does this influence design decisions? Of course. But we're not sat there fantasising about 10 years down the line. We're so busy with what we're doing right now."

I still think it will come to next-gen. I'm not buying it now...still taking care of my huge backlog before PS4 comes. Then, maybe, in the meantime, GTA V gets announced for PS4.

I was under the impression after E# that if your a playstation plus member that all of your purchased games will be available to play on the ps4 as well? e.g. your account swings over. I'm sure thats how I heard it!
I could be wrong though. Please explain, if you can great people of the internet.....

Ps3 games aint compatible to be played on ps4, not until Gaikai is released

REDGUM3868d ago

Not retail copies but what about PSN versions of the game?

This article is based on a lie originally posted by PSU. PSU claimed Rockstar was talking about GTA5 when in fact the only thing they were saying was that they are not currently working on GTA6.

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

Ex-Rockstar Dev Finally Explains Why Small Planes Randomly Crashed in GTA San Andreas

Former Rockstar Games Technical Director Obbe Vermeij has finally revealed why some planes would randomly crash in GTA: San Andreas.

Profchaos17d ago

This fly by feature was on the cutting room floor due to the random plane crashes and it's one of those things I'm so thankful made it into the final version as these random fly by and crashes make the world seem more alive on the extremely limited PS2 hardware you needed everything you could possibly get in a open world to convey that feeling.

And accross hundreds of hours of gameplay I probably died around 3 times as a result of these fly by failures but I loved every time it happened

It made the world feel more human, and honestly kinda insane that even today with all these open world games, almost no one can capture that like R* even when compared to their ps2 games

Skuletor15d ago

Lol, I remember those. I vaguely remember dying from one crashing into my car once too.
