Dear Blizzard: Why Is Diablo 3 Better on Console?

Is it really better on the consoles. I have it for the PS3 and i'm loving the game but is it truly better than the PC version??

The experience is definitely better...something about the way they mapped the controller and the combat just feels...RIGHT...if you are talking performance I don't see that being any difference really and the graphics on console aren't as clean as the PC but they are pretty damn close.

I have it on PC and am considering buying for PS3 after I played the demo so me and my wife can play together locally and even my buddy is thinking about picking it up for his PS3 as well even though he owns the PC version that we both played together for many many hours lol

If you buy the digital version, you get two copies via gameshare, and you can share it with your friend, who in return can tell his wife to get in on the threesome you guys are having. Everyone wins :)

They tweaked the loot drops on the console version, because there's no auction house. A lot of people say that the loot drops are better on console than on PC, with legendary items dropping more frequently on console. But PC will eventually patch that since they're getting rid of the auction house too.

Its a matter of opinion, but the reason I prefer it on console is using a controller. Yes I could do that on my PC, but I have a console for that sort of thing. None the less, enjoyed it on PC, and now PS3

Ahh didnt know that, but was just reiterating the fact that some PC games do allow controllers, but id rather play a console if that was the case.

I guess the controller is better than the mouse in this instance, either way I'm enjoying the game but I'm sure PC gamers enjoyed it just as much.

The big thing that changed between consoles and PC was the Real Money Auction house. Which is why we're currently not enjoying it... I spent 45 hours in the game, grinding for some awesome loot. And I got items I was happy with... I spent $0.79 and got loot that COMPLETELY outclassed my drops. Thankfully that all changes when they shut it down.

Speaking only for myself, I hated the mouse controls for the PC. It's just clumsy having one input control your moving and targeting.

The console version is pretty ugly though. Models are such low detail. D3 also looks really nice in stereoscopic 3d, which is perhaps surprising given it's isometric.

Reason it's better is simply because AH is gone.
Much more fun to find/make your own gear than buying it.

Simple it was designed for the console from the get go. Honestly only think they used them PC player as beta testers that pay them to play the game.

It's better on consoles because on consoles there is no AH or RMAH, that it it. And in 2014, they will match the two versions by removing RMAH and AH from PC version.

Yesterday i've downloaded Diablo III demo from PSN. And i really like it. But my question is:
can i still follow Diablo III stories even i never play Diablo?
I want to buy it, but i'm worried that i will be in the dark because of my unknowledgeable for Diablo series...

diablo 3 looks TERRIBLE on console

its 1120x584p and runs like trash

there are jaggies everywhere, even on the character models themselves for petes sake

the controls suck and the U.I. is a mess

diablo 3 is great on pc, the auction house is half the fun after you've beaten the game a few times

its fun to hunt for items to perfect your build

its 50% of the game

the console versions are terrible compared to the pc version

like it always has been and always will be

Auction house killed this game. hrs of looting trash weapons so you can save up enough money for that 1 sword in auction house that would drop 1/100000

Not just the AH, but also the colourful world and corridor-like feeling of the game.

The loot itemization..is a whole different thing.
