Who says a dud game can't have a video game comeback?
Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky have to be up there. We're lucky and cursed, equally, to have games that can be updated now. For folks old enough to remember the Sega/SNES into PS1 and even 2 eras, if a game came out that was half baked (*cough*Angel of Darkness*cough*) that was it, no redemption. At the same time, having the option for updates shouldn't be an excuse for half assing games.
I remember when the Nintendo Seal of Approval meant something.
All those games had to release without bugs.
Diablo III still works on modern PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and remains hugely playable a decade after initial release.
Diablo III: Season 28 brings with it the Altar of Rites, an altar full of unlockable bonuses and potions that will require the gathering of tons of resources. Only took them 2 years! The only reason they are shutting it down is because the well is dry, 100 mill is now 2.50$ no more money to be made for Blizzard. They made their money now its time to actually make the game good.
I wish the console version had the same loot system. Is it not easier to get look on the consoles verses the pc? Isn't the pc version more in line with the d2, that's what I wish.
So will we be able to play offline on PC, too?
This doesn't feel as good as it should. Maybe I'm subconsciously weary of what Blizzard is gonna f*ck up next. Can we finally do away with that DRM? Rubber-banding on single player is something I still can't get over. AH is being torn down on March 2014? At this pace we should be getting the D3 originally we wanted in mid 2016.
