Thirlwell "Will certain Xbox One games benefit from free access to dedicated Microsoft servers? That's what some in the media are suggesting, but we've yet to light on a concrete statement to this effect from the manufacturer. Turn 10's Dan Greenawalt has muddied the waters still further, telling OXM at Gamescom that as an Xbox One title, Forza Motorsport 5 enjoys "great advantages kind of for free."
Turn 10 is, of course, a first party studio, but it's rumored that Microsoft has struck similar deals with third parties. Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox One will also run on dedicated Microsoft servers, "ensuring the best multiplayer experience will be on Xbox One", in the words of Infinity Ward's executive producer Mark Rubin. However, when we asked whether Sony might also provide dedicated servers for the PS4 version, Rubin was unable to comment.
The official launch of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is finally upon us! The game is now available for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
dedicated servers should be a stander next gen
Kind of free except that annual fee you have to pay which means it's not at all free. Nice try though Turn 10.
Dedicated servers should have been the norm for every multiplayer game on the 360 considering they were charging for it. You wouldn't believe how many people actually think that all games they played on the 360 were on dedicated servers.
Dedicated servers should be the norm for a top tier game.
Microsoft should of had most of their first party games dedicated anyways, just like Sony has for years for their first party games, especially considering xbox live has a premium cost to access it since 2001.
But it's great to hear that finally they will have dedicated servers.
One thing I would like to ask, does anyone know if the xbone accepts the use of dedicated servers other then Microsoft's dedicated servers?
