"The Playstation Vita is without a shadow of a doubt the best handheld console that has ever existed. Its build quality, screen, controls and specs are completely unparalleled. It has the ability to bring current-gen console-quality gaming to the mobile platform without even straining itself. So why does a console like this require saving?"
While gamers usually take notice of the mainline missions, these 5 side quests deserve more widespread attention for how entertaining they are.
Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?
Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.
Uncover secrets, defeat challenging bosses, and upgrade your arsenal in these exciting Metroidvania titles on the PlayStation Vita.
It doesn't need "saving". It just needs a little TLC. I think PSVTV will boost sales tremendously. I'm certainly looking forward to it and remote play. Playing PS4 games anywhere? Friggin fantastic. They just need to market it's capabilities more, methinks. I think we'll see a big, big boost in sales soon. Don't really care about that though; all I know is, I want one.
Having all indie games on the PS3, PS4, and the Vita isn't doing it any favors.
Why buy a game for the Vita if it can be found elsewhere?
That's probably the Vita's biggest problem.
What it needs is for articles to stop promoting the idea the Vita has no games. All that's holding it back now is the media and those rabid fans that love to latch onto fashionable memes, or the weaker gamers who get caught up in the narrative because they fear being ostracised and mocked.
Anyone who buys a Vita now couldn't possibly catch up with the huge library of games available, regardless of what the media want people to think.
I find it really odd that these types of articles always appear just after new games are released or after news of a price cut, new design and another member of the Vita family is announced. These are written by design and not out of necessity.
Don't be fooled. Do the research and go to forums with dedicated Vita sections or dedicated Vita threads. Speak to the people that know: Vita owners. Here's a small list. All the games aren't there but it gives you an idea or two:
