The worst GTA mission ever made

GTA has always been known for two things: crazy random destruction and missions. Okay, there are also activities but that’s another topic. Point is people enjoy GTA because of its freedom to do whatever you want in a virtual city full of vehicles. But what about those missions? Some of them were pretty amazing like that bank robbery mission from GTA 4, but some were also difficult and annoying. And then we have Supply Lines from San Andreas which is by far the worst /most annoying GTA mission ever made.

lol good times. took me awhile to beat it. I was like 12 lol, I remember anytime a game was too hard - boy I got emotionally pissed. Tears flowed on this mission

DigiteX3871d ago

Same here, i totally hated this mission, i was so pissed!

TXIDarkAvenger3871d ago

I was able to beat it at a young age no problem, come back now and it was harder than I imagined. Still beat it but it was much harder then I remembered.

slimeybrainboy3871d ago

And the RC Helicopter, and the RC tank.

Fuck that nerd Zero.

Calvin_ISA3871d ago

And the one on the roof with the mini gun and you protect the towers. Horridly difficult, all of them.

TI_213871d ago

I did as well.
I forgot all about that mission but reading the article the memories are all coming back. It really was that annoying. I even recall landing behind the enemies to kill them conserving fuel. That limit was the most annoying part of the mission.

ATi_Elite3871d ago

YES that is ABSOLUTELY the worst Mission of any game EVER!

As soon as I seen that Red Bi Plane I got a Migraine Headache!

I outta Sue R* for that Broken Mission as it caused me pain and suffering.

UnwanteDreamz3871d ago (Edited 3871d ago )

I forgot all about this one but the picture was enough to remember my frustration. I was over 20 my first time playing these missions and I know I rage quit the whole game at least twice before I beat them. I might have skipped it had I realised I could.

I've never been able to quit playing a game because it was too hard or frustrating but there are games I never could beat. Battletoads I'm looking at you.

3-4-53871d ago

took me probably like 15 tries at least to beat this.

Thank you Rockstar for putting in checkpoints now.

I thought I was alone in despising this mission

RamsesNum13871d ago

I remember constantly having to restart that mission over and over. I was mouthing the cut-scene before hand like I was the understudy.

FogLight3871d ago

Oh man, I still also remember Vice City's Demolition Man (RC Copter)...Horrible memories right there too :'(

RBlue_Desire3871d ago

It wasn't that hard, after you got used to it.
But I never went past GTA SA, car dancing. (or whatever it is) mission via kb/m...........

I quit playing sa and now i can't even go back due to dated graphics, and controls.

Truth3871d ago (Edited 3871d ago )

I'm currently replaying it to get my GTA fix until Tuesday. If you're talking about the lowrider bounce competitions... Then all you have to do is hit the button right as its entering the circle. I get perfect almost every time now. The only thing that annoys me in GTA:SA is the aiming system.

TotalHitman3871d ago

Vice City's Demolition Man isn't hard. It was when I was a kid, but now I can even do it on a smartphone with touch controls.

DirtyMagician3871d ago

This is the only mission I gave up on and never returned to, still incomplete to this day.

LarVanian3871d ago (Edited 3871d ago )

When San Andreas first came out I struggled immensely with this mission! Seriously it was the hardest mission in the whole game!
I downloaded San Andreas on PSN earlier this year however and managed to pass it on my first go...with the help of an online strategy guide.

Where are These Missing VR Games?

As is they're coins down a sofa, some announced games seem to just disappear. So just where are these missing VR games?

There wont be enough demand until the tech gets better and more affordable.

ApocalypseShadow44d ago

The article is more concerned with where the announced games are. Not about VR demand.

Even with my thoughts on Facebook, they did supposedly sell over 20 million headsets. Not that I think that many are still using their Quest headsets. But even if it's only 10 million users and 5 million are interested and able to play GTA SA, that's still a lot of consumers and a lot of sales.

It just comes down to why these developers are taking so long. Is something like GTA canceled? Is it being held back for a future event? It's not like there's competition in the stand alone space. And now that I have a Quest 3 myself, I'm wondering as well what's the hold up.

For GTA SA
Meta made a lot of budget cuts and cancelled a fair few exclusive game contracts we don't know if this was cancelled but it's possible and this was announced prior to the release of GTA definitive edition which was slammed and eventually moved to be supported in house by Rockstar.

Since then we have just gotten the mobile versions a d they are actually the best way to play the definitive edition unfortunately the consoles never got a retrospective patch to implement the improvements they made in the mobile games.

But for VR we know a VR mode was found in the definitive editions game files thanks to data miners so seeming it was meant to be using the definitive edition as a base given its ue4 that makes sense. And the mode is there right now (some Polish may be required still) I would assume this is ready to go but meta got cold feet and cancelled it given the games reputation.

I do hope Rockstar forge ahead and still just launch it anyway on psvr2 as it's a game I've loved since day 1 on PS2 I'll even tolerate the de version to get it in VR

The reason why there are two different codes for each cheat in GTA San Andreas

From GTA BOOM: "Recently, Obbe Vermeij, a former developer at Rockstar North, shared some intriguing technical details about the ingenuity that went into creating the cheats for the GTA Trilogy"

Gamingsince1981145d ago

I bet it was painful not charging for the cheats as microtransactions

Why GTA San Andreas Needs a Modern Remake

While GTA V is set in the same place, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas still deserves a complete remake.

It truly does. To this day it's my favorite. In reality though this will never happen, unless they get ai good enough to do it idk lol

Release a gta4 remaster first atleast..

Profchaos185d ago

A real one please not what we got with rdr

Profchaos185d ago

This is a tough one we've all seen the remakes of GTA SA in ue5 and they look nice however this is a 6th gen game it's artstyle is so heavily directed by the limitations of the PS2 era machines things such as fog and draw distances were so interwoven.

Ignore the de release but if you were to remake this game it couldn't be made the same the city's are not that big when shown in the hd era instead what would work is a game heavily inspired by the GTA SA and the world would need to be expanded on.

But in many ways I feel like they need to leave the original game alone relicense the original songs and release a 4k 60 version for consoles without the modifications we got and really it should be free for owners of the de edition.

Right now the definitive edition is realistically the PS2, pc disc (not steam as they patched music out) or Xbox if you can tolerate white and black buttons.

Nacho_Z184d ago

It's nice to imagine full blown remakes of VC and SA but I have zero faith that Rockstar would take them on or do them justice. Not enough money in it.
