Sony Computer Entertainment has been silent for a long time on the sequel of Ore no Shikabane o Koete Yuke, that was hinted several months ago. At long last that silence has been broken with a new trailer.

Gotta love Japan style animation. Isn't it called hentai or manga? Dragon Ball Z hentai/manga was my favorite back in the day, especially when Goku and Vegeta fused together! It got really intense!

PixelKnot3874d ago (Edited 3874d ago )

Japanese animation is called "Anime."

"Hentai" is anime porn.

@Wishing
Never knew that! Thanks.

abzdine3874d ago (Edited 3874d ago )

Vita is getting ALL KINDZ of GAINZZ in ATTENTION nowadayzzz...ALL kindzzz

not sure if trolling but hentai is "pervert" in Japanese and manga is the equivalent of "comic" in the western world.

Anime porn it's called "ero-anime" in Japan and the porn games, "eroge". The hentai thing is just a confusion that started back in the 90's but we continue using the word because of tradition. So anything erotic we call it hentai by default instead of ero-anime or eroge.

savaroth3874d ago

To keep things simple:

Manga: drawings in book form
Anime: Animation on T.V
Hentai: The adult version of Anime

Misaka_x_Touma3874d ago

hahahahahahahaha
you had me rolling

Inception3874d ago

"Dragon Ball Z hentai/manga was my favorite back in the day, especially when Goku and Vegeta fused together! It got really intense!"

Lol, i want to see Majin-Vegeta reaction when he read this. I'm sure he will go berserk and destroy some planet with his big-bang attack XD

tiffac0083874d ago (Edited 3874d ago )

The way you put Goku and Vegeta's fusion sounded so wrong and yet so funny, in so many ways. lol!

Edit: I can't remember if we ever got the 1st part of this franchise localize? Does anyone remember :<

Inception3874d ago

Nope. Ore no Shikabane 1 or Over My Dead Body (that's a badass title) never been localize by Sony. It's a very niche RPG. But maybe this sequel will get localize.

Dagobert3874d ago (Edited 3874d ago )

Lol. I'm gonna bubble vote you just for that. Also lol at these weeaboo's trying to explain it.

FamilyGuy3874d ago

Lmao @ that sentence with hentai as the choice.

"Dragon Ball Z Hentai was my favorite"
"Especially when Goku and Vegeta fused together"

Hilarious

This looks like another game to add to my future PS Vita Tv game list. Love the anime art style though this trailer showed no actual game play lol.

I like the Journey to the West feel but too bad the chances of this getting localized are slim to none. Not enough moe or girls with oversize boobies on a mini-skirt for the modern anime fan.

KOIMOJO3874d ago

Being it's made by Sony i'm gonna bet it does arrive on our shores. I think they have heard we want some jrpgs and the likes so i'd hope they wouldn't be jerks of that caliber....

NewMonday3874d ago

Sony have a new 3rd party production team, localization is part of their mission, we should get Japan games faster this time.

CocoWolfie3874d ago

its surprising how often ps vita titles dont escape japan seeing how well some 3ds japanese centric games do outside there :p

sherimae24133874d ago

if you followed shuhei yoshida on twitter he said that he wants this game to be localized and he even named this as "oreshika next"

now doesnt dynasty warriors next rings a bell

Tapani3874d ago

Hmm this actually looks pretty good. Maybe I should play the original first, though...

Inception3874d ago

Looks cool and it came from Japan Studio. But how big Japan Studio is? They developed a lot of games in the same time. From Knack, Rain, Puppeteer, Freedom Wars, Destiny of Spirits, Soul Sacrifice Delta, The Last Guardian, and now Oreshika 2. Not to mention Siren team still not announce their new project for Vita / PS4.

Sharius3874d ago

hey this game has giant enemy crab, i'll def buy it day 1 when it come to the west

Would be Gamestop exclusive.

randomass1713657d ago

Yup this clenches. Seems like publishers are finally taking the Vita more seriously. About time too.

TomShoe3657d ago

I'm waiting for a standalone slim Vita, but this guarantees I'll get one eventually.

Protagonist3657d ago

Games, games, games coming for the Vita ;))

SamPao3657d ago

Yeah! Freedom wars looks realy cool!

Protagonist3657d ago

Looks good indeed, but the game I´m most hyped about is Over My Dead Body 2, because of the art style in battle.

Beetey3657d ago

But the Vita has no games...

/Sarcasm

Blastoise3657d ago

Said nobody that actually owns one

majiebeast3657d ago (Edited 3657d ago )

Too addicted to Destiny of Spirits atm.

randomass1713657d ago

If people thought that before, they sure as hell can't say it now.

Hicken3657d ago

But they will. They still do for the PS3.

r213657d ago

All 3 games localized, all announced, all to be mine!

MightyNoX3657d ago

Told ya'll 2014 was the year of the Vita. Already bought Toukiden, FFX-HD, DanganRonpa, Conception II, Demon's Gaze and we're not only halfway through the year. We've still got SS Delta, Oreshika and Freedom Wars to go!

I'm so happy to have Japanese games. Actual Japanese games with their quirks without all the 'appeal to the west' bs.

Vita means life!

Inception3657d ago

This year i already bought FF X, Deception 4, and Muramasa Rebirth CE. Next i'm gonna get Dangan Ronpa 1 & 2, Akiba's Trip, Toukiden, Tearaway, One Piece: Unlimited World, XBlaze, Walking Dead season 2 (i bought the 1st season for vita and me & my bro are loving it), Wolf Among Us, Mind Zero, Legend of Heroes: TitS 2nd chapter, and this three games.

I wonder if Gravity Rush 2 will be out on this year too. But damn, too many vita games! I can't believe that some people still spreading the BS about vita doesn't have games :/

Protagonist3657d ago

I´ve seen some web stores with pre-order for Gravity Rush 2 as to be released this year...now whether they got some more info about the game, is a good question.

WeAreLegion3657d ago

I want Gravity Rush 2 so badly, but I think the Vita is holding the developers back. Just imagine how incredible the series would be on PS4!

Thehyph3657d ago

Unless you already have it, your list is missing Dragon's Crown!

I like Ys: MoC as well, but I gave up on the story and started holding down circle to skip everything. There's more dialog than gameplay it seems.

Inception3657d ago

@protagonist

Hopefully we will get the release date on E3.

@wearelegion

Gravity Rush on PS4 would be cool. But i prefer it stay exclusive for vita. Some mechanic only work with vita and vita needs unique 1st party exclusive like Gravity Rush.

@stevehypen

I already bought dragon's crown for PS3 because of the artbook. But some of my friends play it on vita, so maybe i will buy it too...

I loved YS Celceta. If you don't like the story, i reccomend you to try YS: the Oath of Felghana or YS Seven. The graphic is not as good as Celceta, but it doesn't have much dialogue like Celceta and the action & music really kick ass!

Shuhei Yoshida Hopes to Release Soul Sacrifice Delta and Ore no Shikabane o Koete Yuke 2 in the West

It’s no mystery that the PS Vita could use a bit more JRPG love in the west. There are quite a few titles released or slated for release in Japan that haven’t yet been announced for North America and Europe, even between Sony’s own portfolio.

Luckily Sony Computer Entertainmente Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida hopes to bring some of them to this side of the Pacific Ocean.

I hope they will.
Vita needs games

Inception3658d ago

It already had a lot of games and more will come.

WeAreLegion3658d ago

And I hope to buy them in the west.

izumo_lee3658d ago

Freedom Wars looks sooooo goood! Want to see how the grappling hook mechanic works.

TomahawkX3658d ago

Hopefully they announce a western release of these titles at E3 with fall/winter release dates.

TitanUp3658d ago

sure would be interesting know a few people that would buy a vita for these games.

imo if you want a vita or even thinking about one i believe there are enough games to justify a purchase.

TheGrimReaper00113658d ago

You'd better

God forbid you actually bring games to the vita!

Lots of Freedom Wars, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Yaiba, Oreshika 2 and Danganrompa Footage from Taipei

Taipei Game Show is shaping up to be one of the most relevant gaming trade shows in Asia, and many video game developers are attending with their own stage events.

Sony is probably the most relevant between the exhibitors, and since most of you won’t be able to attend, you can at least check out the recording of yesterday’s presentations in the videos below.
