You Aren't The Only One Taking A Day Off For Grand Theft Auto V

Here's a rather frank but hilarious notice spotted by lukedoof in front of a small British games shop called Console Yourself. Why bother opening the store when they know their customers and staff alike will be busy playing Grand Theft Auto V on launch day?

Well I won't be booking time of work for its launch but I'll take time off work for when GTA online kicks off!

The Singleplayer portion of GTA isn't that interesting to me. The only Singleplayer I enjoyed is GTA 1 and San Andreas but of course that's because there was no multiplayer option.

Our version of the english language is different from the British version. What is grammatically incorrect can be correct in their native dialect. Claiming your dialect is the right one makes you sound as intelligent and mature as the children bickering in console wars.

I just found it rather hilarious since American-English is maybe the 3rd or 4th variation of true English and yet it is an American saying that the grammar is incorrect.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I took a whole week off lol! And I've actually been saving my vacation time at work for this for a long time.

I also took week-long "staycations" in the past.. for Battlefield 3, GTAIV, and... I think that's it. but If a game comes out that I really want to sink my teeth into, that I'm really looking forward to, I always take at least a day off to play it. Otherwise, I'm too busy to really find the time to enjoy it.

Wish my willpower was as strong as yours'. I'm saving for my PS4 watchdogs bundle and Killzone Shadowfall, but I refuse to miss out on GTA V. It looks like it quite possibly could be the greatest game this entire generation. IGN said that GTA V is more next-gen than any next-gen game...lol Can't wait for midnight launch!!!
