Well i consider that new model as unofficial price cut. But i think sony will announce official price cut for japan on this year TGS. Sony will keep their momentum as high as possible, especially when PS3 got tons of high profile games on this year alone.

pretty sure those numbers will keep going up from here.I think the holiday rush may come a little early for playstatkion this year. Theres a good stream of content only on ps3 so it makes sense.

Man PS3 just keeps on giving, like its dad and its grandad before it. What a strong lineup so late in its lifecycle.

After playing the demo I'm looking forward to Puppeteer. People might not have thought it from the lack of hype but that game it gorgeous. Really amazing lighting.

And Rain has had me intrigued since it was revealed. Hoping that turns out great as well.

Puppeteer is pretty cool.

Takes a bit of getting used to at first as you need to control 2 characters at the same time (I guess that was covered in the demo, which I didn't play), but once you get the hang of it the game starts to flow.

Really great art direction.

you should take note that this is from until august 31 there are no noteworthy releases at those weeks, we will find out this september
due to killzone, rayman, fifa, valhalla knights 3, and atelier and some notable indies too...

but inspite of that its still got up by a decent in NA from 4k every week it goes up by 10k every week and in EU from 7k every week it goes up by also 10k at that week

I think Killzone will do decent numbers, but the title I'm really holding hope for is Tearaway. I really want it and Puppeteer to do well in sales because they look so damn unique. I especially love the stop motion paper aesthetic effects that Tearaway has. Hope those games sell well.

yes yes! please buy tearaway too, im going to buy it at launch too its been a long time since ive seen a game with aesthetics like that the last is paper mario which is also great ^_^

I seem to remember reading an article that said Rayman Legends was selling way better on the Wii U.

@ knushwood ok I see what u mean, even though it doesn't show the numbers it shows up at a higher rank meaning it sold more gotcha. its weird it didn't make top 20 , did it not sell well on either platform , but feocart is right it sold more in the uk .

Maybe it will fare better in NA.

Rayman has never been big in Japan.

But that article only detailed sales in the UK.
Worldwide, the PS3 version sold the most (it was a good move by Ubisoft, as Rayman has always had a larger userbase on Sony platforms)
