Confirmed: Next-gen versions of MGSV to be shown at TGS

It has been confirmed that the next gen version of Metal Gear Solid V will be shown at the Tokyo Game Show, which takes place later this month. starting September 19.

Awesome, the gameplay shown a few months back blew me away, stealth and open world are my kind of mix. If the next gen Red Dead game looks anywhere near as good as that graphically i will be pleased.

People misread the article regarding its release window, the game is said to be coming fiscal year ending march 2015, that means any point between april 2014 and march 31st 2015. A fall 2014 release date is very likely.

Microsoft took that spot already , do you remember at E3 ? I think it's the all way around , you could expect exclusive content for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 , after all , Microsoft will hold a 90 minutes conference at TGS 13 , there is 4 games in development by Microsoft Studios Osaka , Cave retired developer is making an Xbox One exclusive , Platinum Games have leaked files suggesting they're creating an exclusive Xbox One game , Level 5 is rumored to be creating an exclusive Xbox One game , Red Entertainment is rumored for developing an exclusive Xbox One game

So what? Kingdom Hearts 3 and FFXV were shown at Sony's conference but they're still the same as the One versions with no exclusive content.
I really think if MGSV had exclusive content on any console then E3 would've been where it was announced.

Anyways it's good to see a lot of MGSV articles today, hopefully with all the news trickling out that means development is moving along at a decent pace. Feels like ages since the GZ announcement trailer was shown.

It is extremely unlikely Level 5 are making Microsoft a exclusive Xbox One game, MS pulled out of an MMO they were making & left them in a pretty dire financial situation at the time. Lots of bad blood is still there.

lol MS might sell a million x1's in japan but i seriously doubt it.head to head console launch is going to be MS downfall.they in third now with the 360 being on the market for a year all by themselves.there might by some timed DLC but that's not enough.maybe they can have a app like the espn football but using sumo wrestlers.a sumo wrestler fantasy league/s

Wow, there's a lot of stuff going on in MGSV isn't there? It's sounding and looking amazing! I'm trying not to get too hyped since its still at least half a year away but it's undeniably cool

I don't know, They say MGSV, doesn't play anything like old mgs... IGN and Kotaku say it a splinter cell like in presentation and game play. Regenerative health replaces Food rations, slow down in time when you alert soldiers in order to shoot them or take them down, cqc is streamlined... They say it all works well but doesn't feel like mgs, which I suppose is the issue for me. I wanna play for myself.
