The GTA 5 Agent Trevor DLC episode could have been a real treat for fans on PlayStation and Xbox, before it was scrubbed sometime before 2017.
With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.
I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.
Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

GTA 4 is the perfect example of how metacritic is a broken system. It is rated as the best game ever, however, everyone knows that this is simply not true. GTA SA was far superior overall. Plus GTA 4 story was complete crap which instant makes it not the best game ever

50 square miles, Just Cause 2 still has it beat with 400 square miles. Still very impressive considering the amount of detail and activity in GTA V. Just Cause 2 was mostly empty and lonely.
"I’m not a game developer so I don’t know how it’s so expensive to make a video game. Surely it’s just a bunch of people working on a computer right? Well GTA V’s rumoured budget is an eye-watering $137 million."
Most people don't factor labor when thinking about the cost to make/produce things. If you assume GTA V was put into production immediately after GTA IV and assume 200 people worked on GTA V (150 people worked on GTA IV) at an average salary of $60,000/yr (average game developer salary was $81k in 2012 and I'm sure not everyone on staff makes this much), that's $60,000,000 going towards labor to produce the game alone.
When you factor in marketing, distribution, servers, etc. then yes, you're getting into the $100 million range to produce GTA V.
