Not only does the Map look good but the whole UI.
Makes everything look much cleaner, though I've been playing gta since gta 3 and the old UI sort of will be missed. Sort of, ok not really.

Is it me, or does it seem kind of small, in terms of the city size and the amount of roads.

I love the open space north of the city though. That is where a lot of the fun will happen.

SolidStoner3885d ago (Edited 3885d ago )

After everything I saw in trailers I expected size to be bigger.. city is taking almost half of the map... I was aiming to see more lakes, mountains, deserts and very long roads...

maybe this map dosnt show all roads, only big ones.. thats why map looks smaller..

it still looks great... especially after GTA4 non stop city :)

NukaCola3885d ago

It is big. Not every road is displayed on this map. Just the main one. This mao is supposed to be SA RDR and GTAIV put together. It looks massive.

Yea it looks awesome, I'm just hoping there is more to it I'm not seeing or something.

TheFamous13885d ago

We don't even know how legit this even is.

Don't forget the "fan made" part of the article.

bigrob9043885d ago

same thing i thought, but the way the designers make it sound is that it's gonna be much bigger. i'll have to see for myself when i get the game.

@NukaCola

The devs said that the whole game will have the "area volume" would be bigger than RDR & GTA4 combined. This includes indoor and the underwater sections. Considering the sea is practically as big as San Andreas, that actually tallies up the volume.

RE_L_MAYER3885d ago

well if you put it that way,the sea area I understand but that much indoor stuff?

DigitalAnalog3885d ago

Well, knowing the game would have "heists". I would figure these buildings would have 3 - 5 floors worth of surface area, so that actually counts as well. Not to mention the houses you will buy, the gyms, the fast food joins, the clubs, bowling alleys, etc.

Where are you seeing the user interface..? I hope you don't mean the map model they uploaded on Sketchfab...

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing694h ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming
