Keiji Inafune's new game, Mighty No 9, has already broken 1 million dollars on Kickstarter.

This cannot replace Megaman. Megaman is an iconic figure in video game history. It looks like Inafune lost his touch over the years when it comes to creating character. I for one don't like the character design of the main character. It looks stupid and way too childish compare to Megaman and X.

You're right, Mega man is iconic and can not be replaced. But replacing him isn't the goal of this game.

for the 2.5 millions they are asking for the console versions this better be the mother of all side-scrollers. I've seen indies with less than a million and free fan-made games like the Sonic remake that look just as good as the concept art of this game.
