The point is there is way less than 1 million wiiu consoles in the uk and wiiu games like this and saga's all star racing plus a few more sell better on wiiu than the sub HD twins that's the big story here,attach rate is the best a console has ever seen PERIOD,Sega's all star racing on wiiu outsold both 360 and ps3 combined....look it up its a trend...

Splinter Cell is fine on WiiU, looks just as good as my brother's xbox version. Also Pikmin 3, AC3, Mario, ZombiU, Darksiders 2, Scribblenaughts, Earthbound, Ducktales, blops 2, Wario Game n Ware, Nintendo Land plus other lesser things is nothing to play? Sorry for you loss sir. Have fun buying a Ps4 in a couple years when the library has built up because no one can ever have 100+ games at launch ever.....(fun fact: ps4 has less launch games than wiiu and most are digital idies)

@Shadowsteal I have to disagree the WiiU has a very good list of games to play. A lot of them are on the 360 and PS3 to but none of them are console sellers and this is why the 3rd party developers like EA have made a fuss about low sales of there games on the WiiU.

The one thing that was lacking on the WiiU is 1st party or excusive games but with Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101 already out and we have DK, Mario 3D, Zelda HD, Mario Kart and Super Smash bros out before the 1st quarter of next year as well as a lot of the big 3rd party games like the new cod and batman the Wiiu sales will pickup come the end of this year beginning of next.

I have a Wii U. I'll post a picture if you don't believe me.

1. Splinter Cell is not* fine on Wii U, there are notable texture issues because a texture pack couldn't be installed on the Wii U.
2. Pikmin 3 looks fun, I heard it's short I'll pick it up when cheaper.
3. Super Mario Bros. U was terrible it's more of the same and I can play Super Mario Bros. 2 on my 3ds much more fun. $60 for a Mario rehash? please.
4.Earthbound really in this day and age? Ducktales is not exclusive. Scribblenauts is also on 3ds.
5. Darksiders 2, AC3, and Black Ops 2 were on 360 and PS3 before the Wii U version.
6. Wario and Game is terrible, the ds version is better.

I didn't lose anything actually I played most of these titles already, or counterparts of these titles. Am i truly missing out if I don't play Super Mario Bros. U? My 3ds has much more notable titles and exclusive titles than the Wii U.

PS4 Launch Here's where you can suck an egg. PS4 launch is full of titles that weren't available anywhere else. The reason why Wii U had a bigger launch was because several titles were ports.

The Wii U has an AMAZING line-up if the Xbox360 and PS3 didn't exist. But since I've played all those titles on PS3 already like ME3, AC3, Darksiders 2 etc. the Wii U has an extremely PALTRY line-up.

The only thing that has me interested for my Wii U is Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101. I hold no value for Super Mario. Bros U, I'll get it when it's dirt cheap just to collect it.

Splinter Cell could have sold more but once the news came out that the Wii U was once again getting the shaft on an update and then there are parts missing. It's selling the best because Wii U gamers have had that demo for months, played the challenge app for months, was designed with the Wii U in mind, to prove Ubisoft should have released it way back when for them and platformers tend to do well on Nintendo consoles (go figure).

You're really comparing 3 exclusives at launch (Wii U launched with Super Mario Bros. U, Zombi U and NintendoLand, which featured the same old, new, new line up) as if they're guaranteed to be awesome. I am going to level with you and say I dislike racing games, so I know nothing about DriveClub besides it's a Plus game. Knack looks fun, but impressions seem to be mixed and doesn't strike me as a strong system seller. Most people seem uninterested in the title, which will probably result in it being a Plus game. Killzone will most likely be solid, but that's about it. In either case, there are a lot of people posting how much they dislike the launch line up, since most of the "big hitters" could be had on last gen consoles.

Look ive seen numerous video comparisons of pc/wiiu and wiiu is almost identical,wiiu has less detailed textures but better lighting and water that's the story,and the wiiu version could of looked alot better if it wasnt a port...

Compare COD Ghosts Wiiu/ps4/xbox1 versions when their out the door,i honestly think Treyarch's wiiu version will out do xbox1 and ps4 due to treyarch working soley on wiiu version...

why these fan boys keep spreading lies is beyond me! the texture pack is already included in the wii u disk, it runs of the disk by default, the wii u has limited storage and so does not allow installs of data!

The PS3 and 360 on the other hand can have the texture pack installed! maybe this is why the wii u version on average takes longer to load!

Go to lens of truth and you will see that the wii u textures of splinter cell black list actually look better then the competition!
no way it doesn't include the texture pack!!
if it didn't they textures would look substantially worse but they dont in fact they look better look at the picture comparisons!

The wii u version is also the only native hd version, which means its the only native 720p rendered console version of the game, the ps3 and 360 versions render at a sub hd resolution, and so obviously since the wii u versions 720p native and then up-scales to 1080p obviously it is using the hd texture pack!

Use your common sense, it is also the only console version which runs fully vsync, the wii u version does not tear one bit, while the 360 and ps3 versions have a 20% tear rate of frames!
the frame rate is mostly 30fps and dips occasionally just like the 360 version! on average the frame rate is near enough 30fps just like the 360 and ps3 version!

Please. Pokemon Rumble U had about as much impact on people buying Rayman Legends as Lost Planet 3 (maybe Killer is Dead too. Those games don't tend to sell well). Also the upcoming PS4 / BF 4 / GTA V / etc are probably what is to blame. Most people only have a budget of so much and rather not squander cash on titles they don't care about or expect to drop.

Well, it depends if you want to go for the world record. I can not see myself beating some of those records on the bus or train on the way to work.

This is just for the demo version, too, with levels that are only available for 1 day or 1 week. To think that people were able to get such good scores in a single day is just incredible. Imagine what they could do with the endless amount of time they get with the full release.

So it seems some combination of levels / content is not present. Probably beyond the invasion stages mentioned, since they have 3 lums each and 85 are missing, which leaves a remainder. Though going off the video it seems to be AT THE VERY LEAST 30.

All I really know is the Wii U version exclusivity was a big deal and it was up for preorder for a time before it was announced as multiplatform, probably because third party sales are sucking on Wii U and its losing third party support by the day.

LAst thing I know on this subject matter is my daughters birthday is on 9/15 and she has been asking for this game, she loved Origins. So next week I will be picking it up for her on the 360.

I would have bought Rayman Legends, i tried the demo and it's great. But since i haven't infinite money, i chose The Last of Us (eh, bought it later than normal.. =P) and thinking abou Tales of Xilia... or Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD... or Diablo 3, i don't know.
