GTAV Fan Theory: Michael is Claude

Fan theories for GTA are a dime a dozen. With such a vast universe portrayed across all GTAs it’s inevitable that someone out there in the interweb will eventually come up with a theory that, while it may seem absurd on the surface, starts making sense the more you think about it. One such over the top, yet possible theory has surfaced recently pertaining to one of the three protagonists from GTAV. Micheal (GTAV) may actually be Claude from GTAIII. Dismiss this all you want but the ‘evidence’ is there to support it.

Haha, that would be quite cool and a great nod back to GTA3. Awesome job to whoever put this theory together.

pedrof933884d ago

Oh my God.

Can it be ?

FML.

pedrof933884d ago

Trevor is obviously Murdock from A-team.

Why ? He is half-way bald,redneck and a pilot.

Coincidence ? http://i.qkme.me/3rrc86.jpg

jony_dols3884d ago

Michael is not Claude & unfortunately no one from the PS2 GTA's will make an appearance, as according to Rockstar 'they live in a different universe'.

Only brand names & Lazlow exist in both.

Here's the article: http://www.nowgamer.com/new...

Omegasyde3884d ago

GTA 3 and off shoots are in a different universe. The reason behind this was to explain why the geography of Gt:San Adreas's Los Santo will be very different then the new San Andreas.

That means no San Fierro(San Fran) or Los Venturas(Las Vegas).

I figure the new San Adreas will be based off a compressed version of the real life LA and San Bernadino Counties.

DxTrixterz3884d ago

Michael is more like Tommy, Franklin is obviously CJ and Trevor is ???.

matgrowcott3884d ago

I don't get it. Why is Franklin obviously CJ?

Is it the cool hair style?

brodychet3884d ago

Might be because Franklin and Cj... hm. I see no resemblance. carry on.

pedrof933884d ago (Edited 3884d ago )

Trevor is obviously Murdock from A-team.

GarrusVakarian3884d ago

Franklin is obviously CJ because he's black lol?

By that logic, every white man is Ben Affleck.

DxTrixterz3884d ago

No I just think that Franklin is like CJ because of their similarities. They're both black, both from gang environment, both are with Grove Street Families and maybe even they have same voice actor.

GarrusVakarian3884d ago (Edited 3884d ago )

@DxTrixterz

One major thing you forgot to think about though, GTA:SA is set in the 90's, Franklin would be alot older than he is in GTA5.

Maybe there will be some relation, like nephew or something.

-EvoAnubis-3884d ago

It's a cool theory, but the 6th generation GTA games were in their own universe which is separate from the 7th gen GTA universe. Rockstar has said that over and over again. Forget about Claude, people - neither he nor any other 6th gen GTA character is relevant anymore. Not as far as the main universe is concerned anyway. GTA Online is an entirely different story....

DxTrixterz3884d ago

Lukas_Japonicus or he's just a modern version of CJ. It would be awesome if you could meet CJ in GTA V but that will not happen unfortunately.

pr0t0typeknuckles3884d ago

That would be cool nod to gta3 but it would also be weird,i mean Claude was such a mute, and it would be awkward to see him talk.

Cost of realistic looking movement.

Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…

Profchaos35d ago (Edited 35d ago )

Oh and hundreds of millions of dollars in revanue to boot.

Lots of complaints about gta ever since the hd era started and yet it's bugger than its ever been with gta vi up to 180 million trailer views alone. The next game is shaping it be be another genre defining game

MetalGearsofWar35d ago

They already learned they dont have to actually make a great game

sagapo35d ago

The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.

Zhipp35d ago (Edited 35d ago )

I did accidentally beat someone to death a couple times. An unfortunate mistake but besides that I didn't have any problems with the controlls

jznrpg35d ago

Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games

Profchaos35d ago

I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
