Battlefield 3 next-gen remake 'wouldn't be worth it'

DICE has no plans to re-release Battlefield 3 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, despite the PC version already appearing ready to make the jump to next-gen.

Well after looking at bf4 multiplayer , it blows bf3 ! And the campaign sucked so its definitely not worth it !

Agreed, why go backwards and make an HD version of a FPS. Especially when you have it's sucessor already coming out.

I can't wait to play the remade Operation Metro, Caspain Border, Operation Firestorm and I think Oman maps. They showed a little of Metro and it's new destrucable environment looked amazing. Now all they need to do is add "levolution" and make the interior between B & C flags flood when you take out some of the ceiling.

Yes, that would be perfect right between B and C, also my girlfriend loves that level, only one she plays. She likes it when her team gets bottle-necked at their spawn in the tunnel then just sits up on the little construction platforms with a machine gun and kills anyone who pops their heads out :) she got like 50 kills one time, she was so happy.

She was excited when I told her Metro is coming to BF4.

Only BF3 I love is Kharg Island, the rest are either ok or terrible. The game is really good though in terms of fun, strategy, and gameplay.

I would kill to see BF2 HD or 2142 with true HD graphics and proper windows 7 support to get rid of the damn windows 7 lag. Plus console users would get to experience proper battlefield for the first time!

Hell rather you go back to BC2 instead of BF3...BF3 wasn't that great on consoles at least.

After playing the 12v12 format,I'm ready to see 32v32..After playing MAG for 1200+ hours,I'm kind of spoiled to high player count.And next-gen should provided increase player count in certain games.Hopefully UC4 have 10v10....
