Denkiphile: Payday 2 Review

Eldon from Denkiphile: "I’m a huge fan of the first Payday game. As a lover of movies like Heat or even opening sequences like the bank robbery in The Dark Knight, the ability to emulate scenes like those in a video game alongside my friends really merged the best aspects of movies and games: the ability to participate in high stakes bank robberies but in a safe environment where you won’t get killed or sent to prison for robbing a bank. I had played the beta for Payday 2 at E3, and that got me hyped for the eventual beta and official release. With Payday 2, I can safely say that Overkill Software has pretty much fixed a lot of flaws and frustrations that I experienced with the first Payday game while improving on its strengths."

1. heavy fbi hit box broken
2. punished if you go smash and grab, you get forced to do escape missions
3. stealth community is filled with lamers that could not keep there nose in there own game play, instead they ruined half the community's fun by having there game play style punished with extra missions if you want to actually shoot on shooter
4. crime.net style has issues for lots of players
5. host kick feature is still being abused people getting kicked so friends can get there place on end heists
6. weapon mods & mask are on card system that you receive at the end of mission is totally broken, and chances of getting mod you want for weapon are slim

game heist used to be fun, until people got punished d for playing certain way on game that has not advantages over other players, yet they were still punished

4/5 yeah funny... but everyone has an opinion i suppose, some people just play games with rose tinted glasses on

GB: "Of course, Payday 2 has had its fair share of ups and downs as well, in spite of the success that it has enjoyed. For starters, the disparity between the game’s PC and console versions is a major issue that plagued the game for years on end, thanks to the frustrating optimization issues across platforms brought about by the Diesel Engine, which the game was developed on."
