PSA: GTA V Ending has been Leaked, Be Wary of the Internetz

RealSG: "A quick Google of 'gta v ending leaked' will give you about 533,000 results in .31 seconds. Apparently hackers have found their way into the game and leaked not only the radio stations and soundtracks, but the ending as well."

TrevorPhillips3895d ago

Oh dear God no!

Guys watch out for spoilers on here whether it'll be on the title, description, report section, etc!

GdaTyler3895d ago

Whoever spoils this should be banned from this site. No questions asked.

Skate-AK3895d ago

It happens here will every big release.

M-M3895d ago

Exactly, if you see someone trying to spoil the ending then report the comment for spam. Also look out for the agree to disagree ratio as well on sites. It already happened to me once on here with Infamous 2, don't want it to happen a second time.

MultiConsoleGamer3895d ago

It's not sites like this you should worry about. If you're really concerned about spoilers you'll need to avoid 4chan and GameSpot / GameFAQs for the next month.

ninavoljic3895d ago

The so-called 'spoiler ending' which was extracted from GTA V's audio file was over exaggerated.

In case someone have accidentally read it. It's not true. 95% of it was fabricated by some troll.

brodychet3895d ago

Happened with TLOU, thank goodness it was a fake. But the entire time waiting, and entire time playing the game; I thought i knew the ending. Really hurt in a lot of ways playing. Still my GOTD, but idk.

GeckoPutt3895d ago

This is a ridiculous notion. Whilst I agree that spoilers for a game such as this as a pain in the ass, and all of these leaked can annoy some people... this is a News Site. If things are leaked, this site is the place to put them. If you don't want to be exposed to any sort of leak/spoiler, don't come on this website. Simple.

You can't report the post/comment for Spam when they aren't doing anything wrong at all. This is a News site, it reports on leaks etc. If you don't want to see them - don't use the site. In fact, don't use the internet. You have that choice.

In the end, it turns out the biggest heist was infact an ellaborate plan by Roman to get niko to go bowling

Dark_Overlord3894d ago

I've reported them in the past, yet the mods on here just don't seem to be arsed with doing anything :/ The accounts were still spamming most articles weeks after reporting them. I doubt it'll be any different this time.

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

Niko Bellic is the main antagonist.

TheOneEyedHound3895d ago (Edited 3895d ago )

I want to see it.

Pintheshadows3895d ago

I just want to say to everyone here that I have had games ruined for me on N4G by malicious little (pick obscenity) that have nothing better to do than send messages to countless users.

Be wary.

Anyone going to read the ending of GTA isn't going to have any idea what is going on. GTA endings tend to not make sense as characters pop in and out through out the story. Now there could be a one of the playable characters is evil ending but I doubt the ending (without playing a bit of the game) will make that much sense

Still not looking though even though 9 times out of 10 the "ending" would be a fake

ABeastNamedTariq3895d ago (Edited 3895d ago )

The fact that there are 533K results does not mean S***. I type in IGN and N4G and get hundreds of thousands of results. Stupid "article". This is why gaming "journalism" sucks butt. Always trying to stir the pot.

@Avid

But that doesn't mean that there's an ACTUAL leak. Using search results? That's baseless evidence. They have nothing to go on, that's all I'm saying. Maybe if they used a different reason, but the number of search results, as well as the time in ms it takes to get those results, doesn't mean a thing.

AvidGamerrrr3895d ago (Edited 3895d ago )

“Journalism is printing what someone else does not want printed: everything else is public relations.” ― George Orwell

It's not stirring the pot. It's reporting that there's a leak and we all should be careful. He's just trying to be nice and let everyone know.

ABeastNamedTariq3895d ago

I'll eat my hat. Looks like I'm wrong. All I'm saying is, he based it off of a Googke search. That didn't sit well with me.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be leaving the Internet.

maximus19853895d ago

um rockstar confirmed the leak on their website...so yeah hope you dont get spoiled

annus3895d ago

You mean the leak that rockstar confirmed was fake? Link to where they confirm it happened?

Also, I've seen the same fake spoiler being posted on 4chan over and over, so it's no surprise if it's being posted elsewhere as well.

animegamingnerd3895d ago

considering how much news artcles i see on GTA 5 here today it is best not to come here until the game comes out

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

CrimsonWing691d 3h ago

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

Profchaos1d 1h ago

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

Demetrius14h ago

Ikr mfs that greedy it's ridiculous

andy851d ago

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

Demetrius14h ago

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
