"Is there any particular reason why Europe has a two-week delay?
- "It's simply round production, in which there's a finite factory output, so it's easier to phase it and therefore have healthy volumes in both regions. Put the initial slug into the US, and then it gives us an opportunity to catch up and have extra production ready for the European launch date." "

There you go EU guys. Extra production for you!

vigilante_man3888d ago

Scant consolation, my friend. But we can wait.

It will only really hurt if the XB1 releases on the 15th in Europe. Those will be 2 weeks of torture and not-so friendly banter!

GribbleGrunger3888d ago (Edited 3888d ago )

It's maybe 'scant consolation' for the early adopter, but for long term success in Europe, it's imperative to have more stock. This is a smart move.

NeloAnjelo3888d ago

Agreed man! Most of my mates are getting PS4s here in the UK. There are some getting an Xbox One though... Can't wait for all the good ol' chats about the 2.

gaelic_laoch3888d ago

Better than waiting until 2014 for an Xbone!

paul-p19883888d ago

At least it's better than the delay for the PS3, it was something like 6months last time, stupid blu-ray diode problems....

GribbleGrunger3888d ago

I wonder if the deal with Virgin extends further than just broadband. Sony will want an easy way of providing IPTV and perhaps Virgin will welcome a slice of that pie.

RytGear3888d ago

The biggest thing I am happy for is the mention that the memory card prices haven't actually been dropped like people say they have, if they drop enough I am most definitely buying a vita.

vigilante_man3888d ago

On Amazon.co.uk the 16GB card is now £25. I paid £39 2 months ago. The 64GB card has gone up but I believe low stock is the problem.

RiPPn3888d ago

I don't think there is a 64GB vita memory card, if there was I would be all over it unless the price was insane.

vigilante_man3888d ago

Sorry! The 32GB has gone up from £54.99 to £64.99.

The 16GB card is okay at £25..

Vita will succeed.

I wish we got dlc for Ratchet and Clank Rift apart. I want more content for that masterpiece of a game.

badz14927m ago

yeah, would be great to have a story expansion or something for Rift Apart. with the Rift and multi-dimensional travel, there is so much potential left on the table. but I guess with the Spidey games doing bonkers and next, Wolverine, it will be some times before we see another R&C. oh...and RIP Resistance!

Knightofelemia7h ago

Meanwhile Wild Arms is forgotten about.

Good-Smurf4m ago

That had nothing to do with Insomniac at all lol.

I know I just wish Sony would recognize and remember such a great JRPG franchise.
