Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition- Insane Bang For Your Buck

Twinfinite writes: "While Special Editions of games have become more and more commonplace, the quality of the extra features has declined steeply. Up until this point, the special edition of Madden games has numbered among those that aren’t worth the extra money. That all changed this year when EA Sports and Amazon announced the Madden NFL 25 Anniversary Edition."

I dont think the author realize this nfl ticket promotion is free when you sign up for direct tv without needing the nfl anni package-- i signed up for direct tv and got free sunday ticket 3 months ago-- yeah so much for the 300 savings they are talking about.

admiralvic3893d ago

Well it can be hard to follow promos / bonuses, since Direct TV doesn't always promote their promotions. Like you can see on a lot of deal sites that people have threatened to leave Direct TV and were rewarded with the Sunday ticket. Considering it's their biggest draw, which they're about to lose exclusivity over... it's certainly possible to get it for free.

However, this includes the online version and not everyone will be into that, etc.

AzureskyZ3893d ago (Edited 3893d ago )

i suppose the online version holds some merit for some -- but in my case i like too sit down on my couch and watch football with an ice cold beer in my hand-- pc and tablets just doesnt do it for me, especially when i have a 60 inch tv with hi def direct tv genie hooked up--- i still dont see much value in this package-- i expect something much more than to subscribe into another service while paying extra for the collection. if they included ncaa football game with this package that would be a good deal in my books.

Putting it on my laptop via hdmi to my 52 inch. Pro move

admiralvic3893d ago

Honestly... I thought this was quite possibly the worst CE ever made. The biggest problem is all the research, limits, guidelines, restrictions and conditions that go into even making the Sunday ticket viable.

xBigxBossx3893d ago

You can load the ticket on to a tablet or pc. You don't need direct tv

admiralvic3893d ago

1) Never said you needed Direct TV.
2) That is all the voucher does.

"For fans who are already DirecTV and NFL Sunday Ticket Max subscribers, you can access NFL Sunday Ticket on your computer, tablet, and mobile devices using your current DirecTV username and password."

"If I have DirecTV service but not NFL Sunday Ticket, what does this offer me?
You can use the included code to access NFL Sunday Ticket on computer, tablet, and mobile devices."

This is what makes the CE so awful in my opinion... it's not as awesome as it sounds and there is a lot of restrictions you need to make sure you understand.

EA Delists Latest FIFA Games From Prominent Digital Stores

Following the release of EA Sports FC 24, the publisher seems to have removed FIFA 14 up to 22 from major digital storefronts.

MrNinosan203d ago

And as a Journalist, you should know why.
FIFA ain't allowing the games on the storefronts without EA paying for them. Pretty obvious.

Rols203d ago

Looks like the FIFA licensing deal has expired. No mystery about it.

Loot boxes --- "surprise mechanics"
NFTs ----------- "virtual creations"

just_looken320d ago

Well its sports gamers so they will buy the nft's very fast.

BrainSyphoned321d ago

EA: We need a new way to be voted the worst company
Nike: Have you tried child slave labor? No?... well how about a Jordan NFT. We will even throw in Chinese LeBron NFTs for free!

potatoseal321d ago

Can they even read the room? The world wide gaming room filled with gamers. No one wants this. They know they will probably get away with putting NFTs in their sport games.

EA and Activision are competing for worst company fr.

mariopasta321d ago (Edited 321d ago )

How could they not know this is the wrong ass move. If EA survive this which they will, they are seriously untouchable. Too many casuals play their games and dont know what happening or even give a dam

JackBNimble321d ago

How is Nike still surviving?

People talk about justice this justice that but are so self absorbed that they will continue to support these companies so they can have their neat little things.

At the end of the day , everything the plebs say is all a lie.

Good idea but I expect the NCAA and college boards to swipe away all that money for themselves.

badboyz09351d ago

This means 2 things
1.Ultimate Team is Confirmed
2.They have some competition from another Studio

anast351d ago

They need to start paying college players.

hiroyukisanada351d ago

Bro, pay as much as you need to and don't be greedy, cuz I NEED my college football game back 🤣
It was the ONLY sports game I bought annually
