PCA writes: "Sony and Microsoft have both confirmed their new games consoles, the PS4 and Xbox One, will be released later this year. Here's where we put the two up against one another in our Xbox One vs PS4 comparison review."
It's balancing old and new, then, and embracing a sort of breezy retro simplicity. Pleasing as that is, though, it so far feels a little shallow by comparison to other genre heavy-hitters. Despite moving to an open world and offering sumptuous presentation, Visions of Mana clings to the past and lacks truly fresh ideas of its own. It's a welcome return and a fun, bubbly, frivolous experience, but the Mana series looks set to remain in the shadow of Square Enix's premiere franchises for now.
Hopes are high as Open Roads allows us to take in a Game Pass, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC road trip.
Review - S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky should be seen as an expansion rather than a full prequel, but it is one that fans will enjoy nonetheless.
IMO ps4 has the better games, there are some great games for xbone though, not gonna lie.
I'm 19 and am excited for Knack.
Haven't played a mash em up platformer since PS2 days, because I skipped all the R&Cs this gen (foolish).
I want a next gen R&C or J&D! The world needs it.
Both consoles have great line ups but the PS4s FTP games sell it for me.
Edit: And no i cant play them on my PC which is why i want a PS4 to play Planet Side 2 and other titles.
This is like comparing a bottle of fine chardonnay wine with a can of Bud (Xbone)! Not a fair comparison at all, at all!
Killzone looks fantastic, DriveClub looks fantastic, and Knack looks like good, simple, fun.
You know why PS exclusives are so scrutinized?
Because most consistently raise the bar for graphics, storytelling, gameplay, etc.
