Lack of Vita Version of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD Explained, New Screenshot

Not waiting until gamescom, Konami has confirmed that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD is indeed headed to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 31st, but so far they have only detailed that it’s coming to the PlayStation Network and XBLA, rather than part of the retail bundle spotted last week. - PSLS

Oh well... The PS3 version of that game actually looks much better in terms of graphics and gameplay than most Xbox One Launch games...

Ryse, from what I've seen, is very timed action button.

Dead Rising 3 actual gameplay looks like your average PS3 game if they even looked that average..

This game is really standing out especially with the travesty reboot DMC, I'm craving for some good action games.

Whoever disagreed with you maybe missed past 2d castlevania games on handheld .

This one was easy , poor and uninspired in comparison . As much as i enjoyed Lord of Shadows despite its vast difference with the usual castlevania games , i couldnt give this one a pass .

5/10 .

Funny thing is i plan to buy the rumored Lord of shadows pack , for collection's sake this fall , including mirror of fate ... but i'll ignore this , no way i'll bother with it on ps3 , i had my fill .

The original DS had some fantastic Castlevania games, it's a shame they went the direction they did

I didn't think it was awful.

While it definitely doesn't capture the magic of the DS Castlevania games (which are awesome), it's a serviceable 3DS game and worth playing if it's cheap enough.

Agreed, it just felt boring
It felt more like a brawler where you can win with just 2 buttons
I was actually hoping to see a 3DS version, like the other DS games
Better graphics, more weapons, bigger castle, more different locations, maybe some online
And I personally like the exploration in the Metroidvania games than the classic games

Im extremely mixed about this port im happy they did it but honestly I wouldve been happier with a vita port. But ill keep this game in mind I have been wanting to play regardless of reviews I need to see whats up on my own.

Ridiculous that there is no Wii U version of this. How hard or expensive would that be to port? Nintendo should really step in and offer to help publish a collection of the 1st LoS, this, and LoS 2.

Its pretty sad that Nintendo systems are missing out on something like Castlevania, a title that used to be synonomous with Nintendo. How can companies expect a system to sell if they dont support the damn thing? they dont even have to put it out in physical form either, just put it on the eShop. Pitiful.

Im really starting to getb annoyed with Nintendos lack of publihser relations. They left the launch wide open for other publihsers by not releaseing any of their big titles and yet publihsers still wont support. It just boggles my mind how Nintendo seems to avoid this and how they dont mind watching their systems suffer in the marketplace like this. It gives me such a sinking feeling.

I played the demo on the 3DS, and thought it was pretty cool. I did like some of the gameplay mechanics, and the castle looked good. The demo left me interested, but in more of a "When the price is right" kind of way.

I'm more of a 2D Castlevania fan. I hope we get another one of them eventually. Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia are two of my favorite DS games.

Now i know the have that castlevania online thing, but I mean a brand new 2D castlevania game for consoles
Way more detail and better graphics, more weapons, more enemies, more characters, online
Just a giant ass monster slaying, vampire hunting castlevania game
