This generation in particular was unlike any other before it. While we have seen many great games, we've also seen many blatant negative issues come about. Whethere it be exploitation, DLC abuse, fan neglect, or just plain greed, this generation was rife with it. Many companies are guilty. But Square Enix, Capcom, and Electronic Arts are probably the three that are among the top in that regard. So between the three, which one do you feel needs to redeem itself the most?
Saad from eXputer: "I'm glad I don't have to choose between Square Enix, Atlus, and FromSoftware due to bad release windows and Shadow of the Erdtree."
Yuji Naka was fined $1.2 million and given a suspended jail sentence for the crime.
I find his comments around how Balan turned out to be very insightful as to why the game is trash. He basically apologises for its existence
The top producer of Square Enix flagship Dragon Quest franchise is stepping down from the role, following delays in developing the next installment of the popular series.
Please o please don't turn dragon quest into final fantasy square enix we dont wont that. Dragon quest works well just as it I. Plus you'll piss off Japanese fans to.
Dare I say it because my favourite games fall under their library, but Square Enix. Unfortunately they are the developers that need the most reform.
the only decent Square games these gen were the ones made by Eidos, Capcom revived 2D fighting games by itself with SFIV and EA has more amazing games than both combined.
I think it's Square the one that needs redemption.
I don't actually own any Square-Enix games but I have seen plenty of dislike since the merger.
Square-Enix needs to prove itself or I'm afraid gamers will spell their doom
Capcom easily. EA makes some great games, and Square Enix, even if FF has gone downhill, still makes great games like Tomb Raider, Hitman, and DX.
Capcom's biggest accomplishment this gen was ruining RE.
Crapcom. After they tried every thing in their power to milk people for more money, They really have to do something special in order for me and a lot of gamers to buy their games from here on out. The on disc dlc of characters -blanka for example, who was already in ssfae- behind a pay wall of characters to the dlc for the "true" ending to "Asura's Wrath."
Honorable mentions include canceling MegaMan Legends, and ruining Resident Evil.
