Walmart to start PS4 and Xbox One in-store pre-orders on Aug. 24

If you have not yet pre-ordered a PS4 or Xbox One, time is running out but you will have one more opportunity to guarantee yourself a PS4 and Xbox One on launch day. On Aug. 16, it was revealed that Walmart will begin taking in-store pre-orders for the PS4 and Xbox One very soon.

It's strange that Walmart are only just taking preorders and asda in the uk who are part of the Walmart group have been taking preorders authorised by sony since E3.

My girl is a manager at Walmart. I always planned to get my PS4 through them. She gets a 20% discount just for being a manager and around November they give out another 20% to promote shopping. That's a 40% discount.

That means i'll be getting a PS4, Camera, and a controller for about $340. CAN YOU SAY WINNING!!!!

JRH speaks the truth, at least partially. Some management get 20% off versus the 10% regular employees get. There's also a little over a month period at the end of the year where their discounts get doubled for the holidays, so 20% for regular employees and 40% for management. It's also the only time of the year Walmart employees get discounts on most food related items.

My bro and I waited at a Walmart line for the Wii. We were the first in line and waited 24 hours. When we first got there they acted surprised(live in a small town and no systems had came out for a while)when we told them we wanted to be the first to get a Wii. It was fun but, never again lol. It was fun to be the first though. I love all my gaming memories.
