Andrew Johnson, EA Sports Community Manager for Madden NFL 25 has stated via Twitter, that a fix for the vanishing players users are seeing in the demo (mostly PS3 users) is in Title Update #1. It is scheduled to release when the game arrives in stores on August 27th.

EA never does release fully working games on launch
It makes me angry. EA quality control is garbage. If you don"t have the internet, you have a broken, unplayable mess. Retail copies should be fully- playable, EA hides features by relegating them for online only too. I wish Madden was on a two year development cycle like Call of Duty.
I just hope they fixed the freezing issues that has plagued this series for this entire generation. Nothing's worse than having the game freeze during scouting and you had forgot to save a couple games prior.
