Naw it will happen in gamescon because a wider audience its watching. When TGS comes they only cater to the Japanese audience. Gamescon is like E3 more people get into it.

I don't think there's much that Sony can do for the PS Vita. Sold less than 15K in the US the last 4 weeks. Just 15K. It's really sad.

Like someone else said on another post I don't think they would be stupid enough to announce it at TGS. As announcing that the Japanese will get it last while being in japan is a stupid idea & as said here, they would be leaving it a little late also.

I think 99% of gamers knew it was coming late 2013/early2014. If gamers have not saved now then that's there fault sorry. I will start saving for ps5 in 2018 to make sure I have the funds just like
I did for ps4 ( started saving early 2012)

Well some of us don't have the luxury of being able to save an exclusive console fund. I won't have problems paying for it but with it being potentially close to Christmas, it would be nice to have some advanced notice.. especially with booking a few days off work.

Does anyone know why GimmeGimmeGames thinks LBP3 would be a PS3 game. LBP is a big franchise. Doing another PS3 game delays LBP being established on the PS4 platform. They need to get it early so more PS4 compatible levels are made for when more people pick up the system for another LBP.

Past resumes have hinted at game being worked on by Sumo Digital for PS3 for "over a year". Every LBP3 rumor in the past year has hinted that its for PS3 and PS4.

Im pretty sure Microsoft are gonna pull out the stops. I was all for the Ps4. But after doing a little more research. Microsoft most definitely have the better and stronger machine. I cant help but feel sony play a very convincing act of confidence ... but looking back over this gen.. theres literally nothing Sony do better than Microsoft. The Ui on xbox is better. The controls. The service. The everything!
Next gen is boxed off.. ps4 is what id say .. the console for the " uneducated gamer"

The margin of it's strength is wide, but because the console is new, it's predicted that they'll maintain parity until devs actually utilize the PS4s strengths. Speaking of strength, why has Microsoft come out with a clearly inferior product two generations in a row now. This is the question Xbox fans should be asking.

To be fair , every Xbox has had 'strong' visuals in some of its games. Whereas Sony games tend to veer more towards slightly less colourful realism, Xbox games tend to like using strong colour veering on arcadey, something instantly flashy to impress at a party. Look at Killer Instinct for instance. Microsoft are covering a lot of genres.

Which may be more appropriate for their 'living room ' strategy where an easily understood statement can count for more than the nuances that you'd chew over in your bedroom.

It seems a little too soon for them to be announcing their internet TV service, they reached an agreement less than 24 hours ago. That seems more like a 2014 unveiling to me, but who knows, if the infrastructure has already been in development for a while maybe they're ready to show it off now.

All I really want to see from Sony at Gamescom is the PS4 launch dates confirmed, Media Molecule's PS4 game and a few new Vita titles announced. I'm pretty confident we'll get all of those anything else will be just icing on the cake.

They haven't clarified on how they will work but below is what is officially confirmed.

- spawn beacons are back
- "support class" has spawn beacons and air bots (aka the tactician)
- GG is really pushing customization with your Charecter and how matches play out.
- humilation moves will be preformd by the top player of the winning team over the top player of the opposing losing team after the game.

Some more Vita AAA titles would be showing some love. I know Shahid Ahmad is trying really hard but when he means Vita love I hope he means also AAA games and not more indies. Indies are good but it won't bring the Vita that far. We need big titles from our developers. Infamous or GTA Vita would make me cry.

No. Sony publishes DL games as do many other publishers. Devs just have the option of not going through a publisher and doing it themselves.

I hope submarines and battleships are finally announced and confirmed for BF4, with the armored and air superiority modes already in BF3 i'm sure they'll be included in BF4 too and DICE can complete the trifecta by adding naval superiority mode as well......it'll be the complete package having all aspects of combat in the game.

Wasnt there something about GG working on a new IP, a while back? It can't have been Kz:Mercs as thats still in the Killzone Universe so that doesnt really count.
I love Killzone but Ive been intrigued just what else Guerrilla Games could turn their hand to.

Herman Hulst (from Guerrilla) has confirmed that they are indeed working on a new IP for the PS4.

Guerrilla Cambridge is Guerrilla Game's sister studio and they are working on Killzone Mercenary currently.

the rumoured october release date is based off an unnamed console being released. n e 1 remember the PS Vita patent sony filed about a year ago for a vita with an HDMI out? i think that is what that will be. the PS4 will probably release in NOV. i hope im wrong tho cant wait to get my PS4

I hope Sony announces whether they will allow game capture cards or not. Their really is no reason not to as MS and Sony are now using Blu Ray and MS is allowing all game capture cards so I hope they do.
