Will GTA V be more fun than Saint’s Row IV?

Reviews for Saint’s Row have hit – and it sounds like the game is everything you’ve ever wanted in a sandbox title, and more. while not every review has been glowing, those that have say it’s really quite excellent – and quite possibly the very best sandbox game.

SR2 was really fun i put in that game more than 50 hours. SR3 not much i didn't even complete the game. SR4 is just a SR3 spin off.

It will be a different type of fun. GTA will be more of an enjoyable experience than the goofy fun I hear SR4 is. GTA is a more serious game and I do want that in my sandbox style games but on the other side I do like to just mess around doing crazy stuff which is what SR4 is for. Different types of fun

I don't enjoy games that expect you to be amused after giving you unlimited airstrikes 20 minutes into the game.

So i'm anticipating GTA to be my choice.

I haven't been a fan of GTA for a long while. The new GTA looks like it might pull me back in. HOWEVER- I love how silly, over the top, and "doesn't take itself seriously" that Saints Row is. If I was going to play single player only I would probably choose GTA. But since I plan on laughing and playing while drinking a beer or two with 3 of my friends I will be having more fun with SR4.

Depends on your brand of fun . I'm the kind of guys that find stuff like SR repetitive and quickly boring , since i'd rather have a more cinematic and story driven experience from open world games .

Give me that over any literal sandbox where i have to create my fun .

The first Saints Row I played was The 3rd and I'm still playing. I recently started and I have to say it has gone above and beyond my expectations. There's always something new and off-the-wall which definitely keeps me interested.

It's a different kind of "fun," surely? SR4 is like a fast food snack AFAIK, instantly satisfying but probably won't last. Whereas GTA V will be like a five course meal.

Both approaches are fine by me, and I'll be getting both games.

saints row 2 was the most fun imo, the new one doesnt look too much different from the third and that was kinda lame in parts, gta 5 will be more fun than saints row 3 and 4.
