My introduction to the Dynasty Warriors series, well-known for its familiar hack-n-slash, one man versus army combat, occurred with one of the games spin-off titles, Samurai Warriors 4-2, a game that I recently played and thoroughly enjoyed due to the easy to get into mechanics and over the top kinetic combat and wonderful visual presentation on PS4. It made me an instant fan of the series and made me interested in seeking out future releases as well as other games in the genre. I really want to seek out and play the Zelda and Dragon Quest Warriors-like games now.

I think an open world experience inside a Dynasty Warriors game could take the game to a whole other level... I remember playing Samurai Warriors 2 Empires for the first time on my PS2. If they can bring destruction to the environments as you fight, and an open world experience. I think it would bring the game to a whole other level, and the proper quantum leap for next generation! I think they have to also look a way to make the physics, and character movements more believable and less stale. I can only imagine how amazing this game can become if they take their time with it.
I love DW 2 back in the PS2 days. Now it seems all the titles are identical clones. Something new would be great for the DW dynasty
