Naughty Dog’s hugely successful title The Last of Us continues to succeed on PSN, but it didn’t quite take the top slot this time. Thanks to the Summer Blast sale, the PlayStation classic Shadow of the Colossus climbed the charts to become the best-selling game in July.
"The Game Music Foundation are today very proud and pleased to announce an additional concert, circling back to the roots of Game Muisic Festival in Poland. On April 28th, 2024, the National Forum of Music in Wroclaw will once again become a place to celebrate the art of video game music, featuring scores from The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part II." - The Game Music Foundation.
Zachary M. Cain said: Shadow of the Colossus is hailed as one of the best action-adventure titles of its time. The game was originally released for the PlayStation 2 all the way back in 2005. It was so good in fact, it got a remastered version in 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and was well received by old and new fans alike. Let’s revisit this iconic classic in 2024 and see how well it holds up to its past reputation.
Najam from eXputer writes "It's time fore a new installment in the series, not another pointless remaster."
They are working on something new. Not to be rude but it is impossibility stupid to think ND next major announcement is going to be a remaster or their next Last of Us entry is going to be another remaster.
What ? SOC is free to PS+ members. Does it still count as a sell ?
Im glad SOTC game is doing well and more people are getting to experience it!
It was one of those PS2 games, for me personally at least, that was a defining moment in my gaming history. I always blabber on to friends about this game and force them to try it!
p.s it actually looks really good in 3D too!!
No, but i did do 3 playthroughs. Dont have as much time for games as i once did. I do want this platinum though.
I only played it through the first 2 Colossi a few years ago, so I might need to pick this up sometime.
As far as games as an art form is concerned, this game is it for me. Little dialogue yet somehow made me care about the characters (even the horse Agro!). I'm no scriptwriter but I don't think that's easy to pull off.
