Steve Whitley looks at the growing trend of attacking developers and Publishers online to express their opinions.
Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.
During a part of his interview with Minnmax, Mac Walters gave details of why he chose to leave BioWare.
Today is known as Mass Effect N7 Day, and BioWare has released what looks to be teasers for the new Mass Effect game.
We really need another solid Mass Effect entry. It's a real shame that such a legendary franchise was left off with such a blemish to its overall astounding track record. Andromeda was just not it, don't know what they were thinking there.
Surprised it got a subtitle
I thought after Andromeda they’d have kept to the numbers so people wouldn’t think “oh another spin off”
Unless Shepard returns
Yes! One of my all time favorite trilogies. Hopefully they do ME justice. Andromeda was passable and had bones of a good game but just lacked the depth and intrigue that the originals had.
It might just be me but does anyone's brain hurt when they read the title?
OT: It is different from other eras of gaming because of the growth of the internet and anonymity. People are still learning that death threats are not acceptable and you could get into serious trouble even if you do it under a username (not sure why they have only just realised that they could get caught. It show people are stupid)
"Developers like Fish are part of the solution not part of the problem"
That is not wholly true. There are some developers out there who makes great games (also get flak by the community) but they ignore it and get on with it. Some even stay away from social media sites and are more reclusive because they like to make games.
Fish is different. Sure he is talented but he also has shown little respect to the community. Respect is something you earn and not something you are instantly entitled to. He earned respect for making games but instantly lost it when reporters were messaging him about certain industry issues/wanted to know his take on it. His attitude is just wrong and instantly makes him unlikable. It is all about taking the higher ground which he refuses to do. In my eyes that puts him down with the angry mob (in terms of my respect) he hates so much
Thank you for the comments. The internet is certainly in its infancy in terms of law governing which kind of defeats what the internet was created for.
You do make some other great points and I hope that further comments will be as mature and balanced as yours.
I think everybody was at fault that day.
