Eh....maybe its time for a break for a couple years after black flag. Maybe like 2 years or so. Its starting to get stale. Yearly games can destroy the greatest of franchises.

ApolloTheBoss3928d ago

Should have took a break after AC2.

theWB273928d ago

What would that do? The games each have a 2 or 3 year dev cycle. Ubisoft has already stated they have 3 Assassins Creed in development as we speak.

The author says most likely Black Flag, next years release, and the year after that. It's my fav franchise so keep it coming.

phantomexe3928d ago

@ theWB27 same man i love the series. It's be hard to pick between AC or uncharted. I buy anything AC that fills in the bigger story from books or comics.

Futuristic Cyber Assassins Creed 2178

Neanderthal Assassins Creed lol

If it gets stale to you just don't buy it.

It was already hinted at in AC3 with it's ending

<spoilers>

Juno is now free and wants to control the world...we now need to find a way to stop her

HOWEVER

With AC4 where the present missions are now optional thats been thrown out the window. They should of kept Desmond around for this but looks like you would have to play his father now. Hell it's not even hinted that we'll deal with the Juno situation in AC4

Why is it they do AC4 with a subtitle, don't give any thought to that kind of ending they left us with in the present timeline and then talk about where it could go in the future. I still believe this is basicaly what Brotherhood and Revelation was to AC2, just Connor was so bad we play his grandfather instead. They only called in AC4 because they would get more sales that way

mgszelda13928d ago

I agree with just about everything u said, except I liked Connor.
He cared about revenge and his ppl above all else

Megatron3163928d ago

revive prince of persia already instead of making an assassin which imitates him, please for gods sake what a disgrace you are becoming. PoP made you now you are going to bastardise it??

CrossingEden3928d ago

-_- yes, prince of persia created ubisoft, in fact, prince of persia developed itself, not the other way around, and no other ubisoft game can take place even remotely near the same "time period" as prince of persia without being considered a bastardization, this is your logic

pr0t0typeknuckles3928d ago

i really hope this doesnt happen,it would be like a slap in the face to pop fans,we already got a crappy mobile game, and forgotten sands wasnt very good either, but now assassins creed is becoming prince of persia wtf ubisoft.

phantomexe3928d ago

already preordered mine...I love the AC world they have created. The AC novel forsaken was great and really fills in the events before and during AC3. The comics are great as well and i wish they do more.

Hanzala from eXputer: "With Ubisoft's practices becoming increasingly anti-consumer lately, the destruction of The Sands of Time Remake looks almost inevitable."

Hey Ubi, here's a gun, don't shoot yourself in the foot.

*Ubi takes gun, aims at foot, empties clip*

At this point, only dummies have any hope left for Ubi-junk games.
