Rumor: 'Modern Warfare 4' leaked, features photo real visual effects

Looks decent for this gen. Not horrible, but definitely not great.

They could win everybody back if they just opened up the gameplay and added some variety and a few "other genre" elements and it would feel like a whole new game.

Cod isn't about vehicles, I got Battlefield 2/3 and soon 4 for that.

COD needs to improve the graphics, make it on par with its competitors (BF4 in this case). COD is about Run'n'Gun, not much else to it. That's where the fun is, you and a few friends trying to get as many kills as possible. No teamwork is needed, that's what I like about COD. I'm positive that's why millions of people buy it day one.

Make it like MW2 with actual next gen graphics and I'll be happy.

The only "weird stuff" here is you not realizing COD is NOT changing for the better. The graphics were a bit outdated but that wasn't the issues with this game.

Sure graphics are pretty, this gen and last but that doesn't fix short development time, bad lag, non dedicated servers, bad map and spawn design and just an all around shitty, untested product. Not only did the last game in the series crash 2 of my ps3s (that I ironically bought for OTHER games) but even on Xbox does not work right. 3 map packs later and the community videos still say error all over. It still freezes, glitches and bugs out on me, for a game that's not even that good. Its selling on the name at this point.....because it sure as hell isn't the quality.

So the only thing "weird" here is that you fail to realize like the rest of the casuals out there, that they will slap a fresh coat of paint on this game EVEN IN THE TURN OF GENERATIONS, and call it new, but it won't fix anything that is wrong with this underdeveloped series or the bugs and glitches that constantly plague it.

Photo real VFX is what all VFX artist strive for, he is probably referring to the explosions with more dynamic smoke. Or in COD's case probably loads of photos of smoke layered over each other.

If PS4 and Xbox one can do these graphics then I will be blown away like the rest of us. It would be a dream come true if these systems can do this. So far games like Deep Down, Final Fantasy 15, and Kingdom Hearts 3,Quantic Dream tech demo are the best use of graphics I have ever seen on any console. If Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 can top those games with these graphics, then prepare to be blown away again by Call of Duty. This could renew people's faith to the Call of Duty franchise, if they also try new things too, not just the graphics.

I'm not trying to defend cod, but I'm almost 100% sure the reason were getting the same freaking engine again is because activision, or should I say kotick, wants to be on this gen PLUS next gen at the same time to lock in more income. Call of duty will go on decline if they keep it like this all the time, since the original dev behind the concept left 3 games ago.... sorry 4 with ghost.

I'm guessing they're going to change engine next title after ghost, but battlefield 4 will probably take a lot of those players in after people realizes that they changed for next gen to get better performing games, but got the same old game once again.

These FPS games like COD don't go out of style just like Madden. And Madden has been out a looong time but still managed to break record sales last year. Both these games only get enhanced, hopefully for the better. People love a fast paced shooter game. It's simple, fun, and competitive.
