The Warriors franchise is perhaps the most prolific of all videogames on the current-generation, including sports titles. When given the main series, adaptation releases such as the Empires and Xtreme Legends repackaging, Warriors Orochi and other spin-offs, there’s quite a variety of Warriors videogames currently available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, so to suggest that Dynasty Warriors 8 is the ‘definitive Dynasty Warriors experience’ is quite a bold statement. Then again, Dynasty Warriors 8 is a fairly bold revision of the core Dynasty Warriors gameplay.
Dynasty Warriors has been around for two decades and has more than enough games to prove it.
New Gamer Nation:
My introduction to the Dynasty Warriors series, well-known for its familiar hack-n-slash, one man versus army combat, occurred with one of the games spin-off titles, Samurai Warriors 4-2, a game that I recently played and thoroughly enjoyed due to the easy to get into mechanics and over the top kinetic combat and wonderful visual presentation on PS4. It made me an instant fan of the series and made me interested in seeking out future releases as well as other games in the genre. I really want to seek out and play the Zelda and Dragon Quest Warriors-like games now.

Day 1 for me! Can't wait, and its getting GOOD reviews lol... It's gotta be the best so far if the reviewers aren't picking it apart like most warriors games! What ever happened to the love for the beat me up genre? Fun games, especially in co op !
7+6+6+8/4= 6.75 as average. Still they scored it at 86%. Kinda weird but hay I'm not complaining. I haven't played a DW game ever. Maybe I should..... any recommendations?
