A pretty interesting perspective on exclusive games for Xbox 360 and PS3 (for a time period of 2010-2013). During this time period, Xbox 360 has received received just 12 exclusive (core games) whereas PS3 received massive 56 core exclusive games.
Lack of Core Exclusive Games is surely going to be one of the main reason why gamers will move on to PS4 over Xbox One (assuming that above trend continues, especially now bundled Kinect with Xbox One).
Life is Strange developer Don't Nod currently has five unannounced games in the pipeline.
PC hit Seed of Life is finally coming to consoles, with a release date announced for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.
The Sims 4 offers countless scenarios that make the game interesting. Power Up Gaming looks at the best Sims 4 challenges to spice up your gameplay.
Forget comparing the amount of exclusives between the PS3 and 360. What this picture shows is the amount of Kinect games over non kinect exclusives. Its over 3x as much
Exclusives are my main reason for going with Playstation again, but I didn't think that it was this clear. Sony's first party is just too dominant, not only do they release exclusives regularly, most of them also belong to the best games each year. LBP, Uncharted 2, God Of War 3 or Last of Us for example. Can't wait to see on what PS4 projects the big Sony developers are working on right now.
microsoft with xbox one is concentrating on getting an overall entertainment system in the market and they are paying the price for this mentality... whereas Sony with PS4 is all about games and gamers......
I think the reason for the exclusive is partially the kinect and also the lack of franchises. though from the new gen it seem's they are expanding in the franchise area for the games. they have added 8 new franchises to combat those of which are coming soon on the PS4.
The 360 ended up being left on life support attached to the COD community. The PS3 is like an 80 year old still running marathons pumping out games like TLOU.
I'm pretty sure the 360 will be left to linger in a semi dead state to suck as much money out of FPS players for a few more years yet though!
