Phantasy Star Online 2 getting Second Episode on July 17th

As Phantasy Star Online 2 reaches it's first birthday, Sega have announced a whole new episode - including new classes, a new planet and new story arc - will release in two days time.

Sega dont know when his games have potential to gain a good fanbase in the west or bring the game to late what when is out suffer of graphic outdated,example yakuza 3 and 4.

Ever since this game was announced, I was hoping to get news on a European release-window...

Sega seem to hate westerners. Where is our Valkyria Chronicle 3 & Yakuza 5 & Most of the shining game localized ?

It definitely sucks that there is no English language Valkyria 3 or Yakuza 5, but I can understand it.

If the games don't sell, then the company can't very well just bring over every sequel. Valkyria 2 sold horribly in North America. For Sega to spend the time and money localizing part 3 and releasing it...would be a money-losing venture. It's easy for me and you to sit here and wish for it, but really, *we're* not the ones losing thousands of dollars (and possibly losing our jobs) if it doesn't sell well. And judging by the North American market, there is reason to believe it would probably sell poorly. =/ Sucks, I know.

its coming to asian countries and translated in few languages maybe there is english but its in r3 region......

Lol you guys do know you can still play it? Just download the english patch and its very playable. That's what I have been doing and I even bought the Vita version. If it never comes to the west im fine. If it does idk I may or may not leave my character :)

I like to know the name of the items I'm equiping and what my missions entail, all of which is serverside. It's far less enjoyable when you don't understand half the dialogue. And no, learning a language is never a viable solution.

Item names are nitpicking, you learn the item as you play. There are plenty of sites that can help you translate if you bother to try. And a good chunk of the missions are in english, least on what you have to do. So thats no excuse either :) Also the patch is getting updated all the time. If you REALLY wanted to play it you would try.

I have the game, I just completely stopped playing it because it wasn't fun not knowing half of what is written and said. It's not fun when you don't understand, simply as that.

The games I dont want sega localizes. The games I do want never see the ametican sun. -_-. Been waiting for ptoject diva F for a year and phantasy star online 2 vita for 6 months. WHAT THE FAMICON MAN. Serioisly, do they need funds?me and other fan will gladly gove money. Does miku and phantasy star not sale well in the west? it's ironic, Sega started out as an american company, supplying slot machines to the military base at Pearl Harbor.

the company was called Service Games, for obvious reasons.

the company went to Japan when a change in the law made it impossible to continue their business in the US.

so they supplied slot machines to US military bases in Japan.

then there was a merger with another company, called Rosen Enterprises, named for the guy who owned/ran the company, David Rosen.

the newly merged company was then called Sega Enterprises.

this doesn't really have anything to do with this directly, it's just interesting.

anyway, why don't they just bring us the bloody game, the western audience is practically begging them to release the game, and they won't.

most publishers would love an audience that eager for their game, and Sega just ignores us?

this isn't the first time they've shown a lack of concern for their western audience.

look at the Yakuza games, too much to localise?
just cut the content instead.
make up some bull about cultural differences, not realising people played these games because of the differences.

Every time i see news about PSO2 i get more and more annoyed, because every piece of news i see shows how well it's doing in Japan and still we don't have an English release.

I just don't get SEGA, do they not want our money ?
